How might Squats return to the setting?
Philip S replied to Skaorn's topic in + AGE OF THE IMPERIUM +
The squats are the Ad-Mec, they only look like 'normal' humans because they replaced their limbs with bionics. Now they blend in :P -

I now feel I should remind everyone about GW Canon, and the fun that is 40K; https://philipsibbering.com/warhammer/gw-canon/ In light of this, could the Pointy Sticks be both canon and non-canon at the same time - like a cat in a box? -

GW's business model - the future and 3D printing
Philip S replied to Captain Idaho's topic in + AMICUS AEDES +
The music industry was a lot more accepting of digital downloads once they sorted out digital rights management. I'd image GW would like the idea of an encrypted STL file format with DRM, for home printing. Once someone invents that, and shows it to GW the inventor could cut a deal. Perhaps one day GW will offer such a home 3D printer on their site, which comes with a premium membership for downloading models. ? -

I'm old school, and I love forums because you can hear people, and have a conversation. It's not all about your media impact, and how popular you are, but about what you say. I like that. I too think that forums are disappearing, I've seen many disappear over the years, like Anargo (but the ghost is still there, a treasure trove of ideas, but most disappear without being preserved) I'm still angry that BL and BI shut down their forums, and that's more than ten years ago! I wish I knew back then how to archive the whole site, because I would have. In the future, the few forums that are left will work well, have a good community, and be carefully conserved and handled. I think B&C will be one of those communities. At least I hope.

Thanks everyone for clearing that up for me.
-
So, let me get this straight: the 'warhammer-community' hub on GW doesn't actually have a 'forum' in the sense most on the internet would understand it, or allow comments, and therefore does not have a 'community' on the community page?
-
To be clear, there has never been a forum on the Warhammer Community?
-
I may have missed it, I've been away for a bit ( ), but where are the forums on the 'Warhammer Community' page? Edit: I ask because I saw this article from 2018 (which doesn't have B&C!), and under Number 1, is says; Which sounds great. I thought that perhaps the studio and creatives are financially interacting with the fans! But when I followed the link I couldn't find the forums. Where the forums removed since 2018?

Praetors of Denzarr added to DIY, Crimson Templars added to Canon (we now have 300 canon listed!). Links added and backups made on the Wayback Machine. @ Lord Kjeran - I'll have to sort out the alternative links for Canon chapters one day, until then canon chapters take precedence over DIY in the listings. @ Brother Tyler - thanks for the heads up on Crimson Templars, I looked them up in the project and found them hiding among the DIY (I also found the Dragonslayers hiding in the DIY with them under 'C' too.) -

@TechCaptain - I've added you chapter to the project, and taken a wayback machine snapshot as a backup. @Zebulon - the same as everyone else. Read the first post. Having a quick look; I'll need a new image of a tactical space marine armed with a bolter and markings applied, you'll also need to find a new host for your images as they have the photobucket logo slapped all over them.
