HH 1.0 flashback: You had to pay (or not) for everything separate on the old unit entry so Refractor and Halo fields were not an automatic thing and it was your choice which was cheaper.. a shield or a power field... So the minis got modeled with them... Now it is kinda pointless.. Other than the few things mentioned.

OOORRRR.... The Leviathan mold is just shot and FW doesnt want to make a new one if the plastic is coming. Even if it is a year or more out... IIRC, FW Resin Land Raider and Spartan horror stories mostly come from the time before the tracks were molded onto the side panels of the tank and you had to glue them on yourself and potentially have to cut links because of size issues. When I built my spartan, the longest and hardest part were those tracks I swear to god I almost threw it across the room before coming to my senses and realising what an expensive resin brick I was holding. Tracks are still loose on the Proteus kits. Wasnt a horrible fix but it did bring out the saws... DO NOT.. put the sponsons half on and try to put the gun and mount on later...

And is a DT for Interemptors.. I had the same internal discussion. Especially with the horror stories over assembly but it wasnt too bad.. Yet...

Phobos has an extra door right in the front. But why run it as that? Is it a Ded Transport option thing? Shouldnt be a problem. It clearly says on page 44, Two Attack Bikes and Two Landspeeders. Its odd (but this is GW), that they mention a formation that we cant even take. Additionally, I am hopeful an FAQ will add Combat Squad to Black Knights. Along eith a Librarian on bike option. You are reading that wrong. "...a force made up of six brethren riding SM bikes, Two *brethren* riding an** Attack bike, and two *brethren* crewing a** Land Speeder." *brethren* has been added in the appropriate places. **Please note the singular pronouns denoting ONE vehicle each.

As everyone has said, "You brought a knife to a gunfight..." At minimum some of those tac squads need meltas. I realize that you are tooled for horde but as you found out, even one tank in a horde can throw a wrench into that plan. Dont be afraid to bring full squads of tac with both a special and heavy. The new 8th rules allowing split fire all the time to everything and the move and shoot heavies at -1 means you are not wasting that heavy shot anymore.
