  1. I've used Easy Off Oven Cleaner to strip Acrylic & Enamel paints (including primer) from my Pewter, Plastic & Resin figures with out any damage to the material. Use an old plastic coffee (Like Folgers) and place your figures inside, spray liberally with the Easy Off Oven Cleaner. Let them sit for a few hours (I've forgotten about pieces and left them for over a week w/out damage also) then run them under warm water and scrub with an old toothbrush to remove the paint. (If you let it sit long enough, it'll break the bond on some glues also)
  2. You've got a great looking army there. I really like the scheme & simplicity you have to their insignia. Really nice work. I really like your objective markers too.
  3. Very nice! I really like that model as Belial! Excellent work on the paint job too!
  4. Honored Brother K'Neth - Priory of Dorn 1st Company
  5. @Dorns_fist: I really like the yellow you've got on your models. :)
  6. I didn't participate this time around because 1. time restrictions, it's the holidays, all my time was put into my family. 2. Writing isn't my thing, I'm not very good at it at all.
  7. Congratulations elohimalpha!
  8. None of the schemes that I liked made it into the second round. Oh well. There is still a nice one from this second round.
  9. Those are the schemes I'm referring to also. ;) To each their own though. I still say if it's executed correctly it can look good and make a good spot for squad, company or crusade badges.
  10. It has its applications - if it's done right. It provides a nice pallet to place markings or badges especially if your using a scheme that has different colors. Also gives it some contrast to help break up a main or strong color.
  11. I just submitted my vote. There are some really nice schemes that were submitted.
  12. @Brother Tyler: Thanks for the clarification. I submitted my entry. I suspect there are going to be a lot more entries for the armor color scheme than there was for the Chapter Badge. I'm curious to see what everyone came up with.
  13. @Brother Tyler: I understand Blue and White is restricted from use, but what about a bone color?
  14. Man, I wish I had seen/heard of this before the deadline! Oh well, we'll see what the next challenge is, maybe I can contribute to that one.
  15. Looks like a new store has opened up in Albuquerque. Ares War Games - according to their website they've been open since 10/16/2010 (maybe a little earlier?) I just found them by looking at the store finder on the GW site. Has anyone been by to check it out? Are they any good?
