For reference, and because I've seen it suggested elsewhere, a cheap and easy way to make a heavy flamer that looks good on a regular Marine is to take a multi-melta, chop the barrels of that and replace them with the barrels from a Terminator's heavy flamer. If you're competent with a knife it looks fine.
