I think two at 180 is pretty good. The amount of armies that rely on or are built around their buff is quite high in my meta. 2s to hit 2s to wound with d3/d6 is good.one on his own would struggle though.

For myself I think Stygies is the way to go. I will be playing an Admech/GK mix. Tpd Tpe 3 x 5 rangers Datasmith 3 Dakkastelans 19 Fulgurites This will be my Admech portion with the priests using the Ambush CP. With my allied GK theres a few options but basically being in the enemies face T1 with GK and priests while the kastellans shoot stuff. Anywhere between 7 and 9 CP depending on which GK Det I take. Leaning towards Grand Master and 3 x NDK for 7CP total

Hi all, Along with being a big GK player I also love Admech, specifically the Kastellan Robots. What do you think is a better HS choice? 1 NDK w Heavy Psy, Gatling Psi and Sword Or 2 x Kastellans Bots w Phosphor Guns? For those that dont know a Bot fires 9 36" s6 shots with -2AP and 1dmg at a 4+ BS and ignoring cover. This is then doubled from T2 onwards by switching protocols meaning two bots fire 36 shots. They are vehicles with T7, 6W, 3+/5++ with 6s bouncing back a mortal wound to the firer. The bots come out to 272 with the datasmith while the NDK is 215....

I like the Gat Psi and Hvy Psy. I think weight of fire is the way forward here and the Hvy Incin just doesnt do it for me with the random shots. Also a hammer

I do still think there is a use for Purifiers with their special smite. Put em in a transport. Add a brother captain and youve now got a 6" power causing D6 mortal wounds. 1 bc 2 purifier squads and 2 transports is 2d6 mortal wounds

Hey Solrac, you had a good looking list and the models were painted well. The matchups you had do not favour Deathwing well. It was good to see an IK there though. Even if you were the only one and therefor "that guy" lol
