  1. Read the same thing. With them "blowing up" the Company Command squad into multiple units now of Ancients, Apothecarys, Champions and Lieutenants, I see it almost as the exact same thing. Those 2 marines who just kinda kicked around in a Command Squad and weren't anything special, well they got a promotion. Those two guys probably were bodyguards at all times anyways just now they're changed the fluff around a bit. In my list I've been toying with, I've got 2 lieutenants in there to spread the re-rolls across the board. Make a 3 flank attack of Left, Centre, Right, with Centre in most cases being your commander (depending on deployment of opposition). I armed them with combi-flamers and power axes.
  2. As Extroplan said, it's really a combination of a lot of different cultures/languages. What I've noticed though, is that the BL writers like Kyme typically go through the etymology of a word in like every language and uses that. Like the word Fire, or Hammer, the roman god Vulcan (God of Fire), are really just constantly reused. For example, Mulcebar as he mentioned above, is actually just Mulcibar (spelt somewhat different) which is an alt name to Vulcan. If you're going to make some extra fluff, this is a great way to make up some names. I've also gone on Google and found a random letter generator, and generated 6 letter words. Put an apostrophe in there and there you go assuming it makes a bit of sense....You'll notice most of the names with apostrophes have only 6 letters, although not sure why. Edit: For example here's a list of all the Gods of Fire in every culture. Switch some letters around, add some apostrophe's and you've got Salamander names. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fire_gods
  3. Having just purchased and gone through the IA, and now knowing the chapter tactics for Sallies from the upcoming book, it's hard not to say that Bray'arth Ashmantle is the best unit in the game. Obviously slightly biased here, but he's just a complete beast and I'd put him almost as good as Guilliman, although still slightly more points. I like Captain Pellas too, as the +1 T or +1S (whichever it is for Warlord Trait) will boost him a lot as well. Now I just wish we could have access to Ba'al Predators and heavy flamers in tactical squads. Here's to wishing.
  4. Wow, how have I missed this! Amazing work on those Iron Hands. Simply stunning.
  5. According to the artist of Nocturne, Darkir's armour is all blue like a normal librarian of other chapters. http://www.blacklibrary.com/ebooks/nocturne-ebook.html
  6. 1 mm thick plasticard cut around the legs. Suggest you to google Guillimans Classic Truescale.
