I need a little bit of help with suggestions. I appear to have a bit of a go to move/error that I make. I play iron warriors, and.enjoy conversions. But started two, fount my plan doesn't work, and have hidden them. I was going to convert an Iron Warriors Abbadon so cut his legs off at the knees, thinking it would be easy to find some technological replacements. Apparently it isn't. But I've also done the same to the new daemon prince (i know, I am not a smart individual) - and have the same issue. I thought the new sentinel legs would work. They do not. Neither do the old ones. Maybe kastellans from the admech range for both? The DP is full legs, and abbadon is from the knees down. Does anyone have any suggestions of things that may work? Of pictures of they have done something similar. This year is supposed to be the year of me doing the things that I've hidden to one side; so I don't want to chuck them in a cupboard and hide from them.

I'm always stunned by the quality of the pieces you keep posting. But more so the speed at which you do it as well... I need to learn your focus... please teach me master. Lol

Ah dude I hate and love these iron warriors in equal measure. They've inspired me to come back to the iron warriors. Haha. Definately gonna be stealing ideas. Progress on models is slow at the min, but the ideas list is filling up. Haha.

Keep looking at those raptors on FW, saw the word chain glaive. And wanted, completely ignoring the fact I have tau, blood ravens, iron warriors; and now guard on the go, almost... Managed to resist so far. Got a feeling when yours are painted though...

I think, being blood ravens; I think one of these will be added to the motor pool... Haha Oh and as for the trophies, love it all, demonstrates the utterly brutal and ruthless nature of the night lords. Anyone's a target. All awesome dude

there is a good part the the novel Lord of the Night which is effectively this haven't got it with me but its attack the enemies eyes hands heart and soul or summit - would recommend that as it sums up night lord objectives very well

Imagine the following: The people on some Imperial world under attack by your forces are taking hope in some structure or person. You decide it would be prudent to remove the source of this hope, thus demoralizing them and making them that much easier to slaughter at your lesiure. Imperial forces recognize this and move to intercept and prevent your forces from doing so. Does that sound good? Alternatively, there's the tried and true "They've got a stock of weapons/power armor/gene-seed/whatever. Let's go take it from them." the world of Genevieve IV is holding out against a dark coalition of chaos forces, the lynchpin of the planetary defence is a communications hub sending regular pict communiques through to frontline forces - seeing this as an opportunity to make the defensive line crumble the night lords are sent to access the comms array and use it to show frontline the commanders being turned/killed/flayed in the safety of thier own bunker... and when the defenders see that, they will be easy prey for the chaos forces done, the objective you need to model then - is a door in the ground

Hi all, my reasons would be more why i would consider them, because i don't (sorry) 1. I read the story of the death of Tycho at Armageddon, and it was awesome, it summed up the curse the angels carry on a daily basis, showing a flawed hero always appeals to me, flawlesness makes things too easy 2. Red and Black 3. Furioso Dreadnaughts (Chaplain Xerichian tells me i'm obsessed with washing machines) 4. The Black Fury. (kinda makes me wanna do flesh tearers though) alas, my love of anti heroes and the ambiguous has got me torn between the mantis warriors and the Legion of the Damned, but this has got me thinking now (damn, i hate being a magpie gamer) Oh and 5. Baal Predators. Hua!
