  1. About a decade ago, I wrote this. Should help. https://www.winterdyne.co.uk/maz/winterdyne_tutorial_3.pdf
  2. I can neither confirm nor deny massive plans for an On30 early 1900's layout for playing Dead Man's Hand on.
  3. TIAT, I'll be trying to decide whether to base up the GrimDark Terrain walls as scatter to go on my wasteland mousepad mat, or to bite the proverbial bolter shell and build everything on modular terrain tiles and go full 3d. On the one hand, tiles will look AMAZEBALLS. On the other, it's so, so much time that I just don't get. Walls and railline/road will be arranged into modules something like this that will fit together even as scatter but on tiles they could be better integrated into the groundwork.
  4. Today I got photos done of my Legio Mortis maniple. I'll start a thread in this forum to keep track of it as multiple images posts are gonna get heavy.
  5. I make them (along with a whole bunch of other stuff). https://shop.winterdyne.co.uk/product-category/accessories/6mm-15mmscaleaccessories As for the decal design process used, there's a bit of a walkthrough on the AT2018 facebook group which I'll (at some point) work into a pdf.
  6. It's not a floating joint - the ball and socket is glued into position. It's more so that the same mount can be used on different titans. This is actually a second holder, the one I built alongside the flags when I first released them is set for a warlord, so I had to make up another for the reaver. As for the blue, I normally use greys for black but wanted to do something richer feeling to go nicely with the gold. :-)
  7. Having recently gained some assistance (and churned out a commission for Mantic) I've finally had a chance to finish painting up my Reaver for my Mortis lads (and a banner from Sets F and H). The weird little bit on the banner pole mount is there for alignment lugs as the pole mount is magnetised (designed with sockets, magnets provided in the kit) at that point.
  8. Been working on my modular industrial terrain sets. This tester of the basic kit is 127 parts (of 208) and is missing a few pieces, like the railings for the main platform and some dressing items (crates, barrels)... I may have overcooked this one.
  9. Yeah, they're quite popular. They do take some work though, and the material can be tricky to work with at first till you get to grips with it. Main thing is to have a REALLY sharp knife.
  10. Yeah, I started making this range to go on a commission piece where I really didn't want to mess with jewellery chain - it does look good, but it's very fiddly, very time consuming. These still need a bit of work, but it's easier going (once you're familiar with the material) than trying to hold chain in place with tweezers. These also glue to weapons much more robustly and as these guys are magnetised I needed that.
  11. Got the weapon banners done and fitted today. Really not sure I like them overall (I do like the waist banners) on Warhounds. Might like 'em more on the bigger boys. Moving onto a pair of Reavers next.
  12. Finally named my Warhounds and got the waist banners on last night. Here's Pesanta and Barghest.
  13. Yeah, two here. Shot of the pair, then two 4-image collages of each.
  14. Paintwork on my Mortis pups done. On to banners next, but I think I may have to wait for my new laser printer to arrive to redo the decals for them. Both together: A: B:
  15. I've been decalling these today and will be weathering in the decals tomorrow...
