I can't wait for the Land Raider kit. I have an old Land Raider sitting around for at least 5 years. I got it used with a horrible amount of primer on it, these beautiful large plates will cover that up nicely. I'm still following your thread with a mix of awe and anticipation.

I'll be waiting on the other stuff you come up with, but these trim kits are definitely on my wishlist 2012.

Awesome. They should just sell them with the parts to build it like this. -
This ^ Though I must say the standard Rhino tracks look a bit bland next to all the extra detail of the rest of the tank. I think these tank treads or something similar would look awesome on them.

I personally liked the head with the Defiler claws more, but that one is very cool, too.

unitron: Maybe this thread of mine can help you, too. Mostly standard legs pimped with extra bits and some different posing/basing: At the Butcher's behest - Thread -

You probably won't find a complete tutorial for a full Defiler, but you could buy some of the bits seperate and build the rest from scratch with plasticard and/or bits. (Maybe this thread of mine can help you find some ideas for a build like that) -

This missile launcher was made with that part and the missile pod of an Imperial Guard Sentinel. -

Glaeken Templaris, thanks for digging that one up, I must have missed him the first time. -

Great job on the light effects! And I spy, with my little eye, a heavily armored man with a huge sword, flying through the air. ^^ -

I love how these past few days, Skyrim seems to pop up everywhere. Feels good to know that I'm not the only one who has been turned into its bitch by that game ^^ As for the mini your struggling with, have you thought simply stripping the paint off and starting over? Maybe include the changes Lorenzen mentioned and turn the cloth into armor plates or something? Since it's Finecast, you could also exchange his arms for plastic ones to change the pose a little bit. I find it helps me a lot to just restart if I'm not happy with a miniature. Anyway, back to Whiterun, I have trophies to arrange in my house XD -

You're making good progress and I like the color scheme. Even though black, red and white are often used colors, you put them together quite nicely. I also like that you painted all the markings freehand-style. Are you possibly a fellow decal-hater? Modelling-wise, there are still some mold lines on parts that should be removed, I'm guessing that's a result of painting things on the sprue. Have you tried assembling a model more completely before you start painting? It usually makes the painting process a lot faster and you don't paint things you'll cover up with bits later. And what is that helmet on the Vanguard Sergeant?
