Inquisitor Fox's Achievements

  1. I'm looking forward to my Escher sending a giant robot to fight my son's Goliaths for them
  2. Necromunda models have neat bits and character and are perfect for Acolytes
  3. Inquisitor Fox

    Necromunda

    Necromunda
  4. Nice! I've had a Squat in my Warhammer Inquisition warband with a plasma gun for a while, now I'll add one to the Hive as well ;)
  5. My son and I talked once about one day trying mixed house gangs.... Where members were from whatever houses, you just declared when you hired them and did their initial equipping. That approach could work for an Inquisition warband if they don't make "generic warband" rules.
  6. As much as I hate the idea as the chem weapons really help swing the odds, the gas mask heads do look really good. There is also the part of my brain that goes "Nah, these boys just all had the chili"
  7. Escher look slightly taller side by side but it's the heels and hair. Torso dimensions the scale is consistent across the necromunda to 40k line
  8. Actually as I have the minis at home the Escher are the exact same scale as existing 40k minis. Goliath's are a little bigger technically by a smidge, but they're on 32s and are now s/t 4. I'd use scions for arbites.
  9. I dunno... every gang needs that one short guy who has a really big attitude problem and a chip on his shoulder... ;)
  10. "In my service to the Emperor I have acquired a certain set of skills..."
  11. As far as I can tell you can have a detachment of all MT + advisors and still be okay though as the advisors specifically state that they do not prevent other things from getting their perk. So you can take your Commissar, Priest, Tech-priest, Valkyries, Ogryn, Ratlings, etc with your Stormies. Just not a Leman Russ, Sentinel, Chimera, or artillery.
  12. Not for nothing, but Necromunda metal models have always been a staple for Acolytes, and since they just announced the return of Necromunda in plastic... just Sayin'...
  13. I enjoy making my small in number but elite army of Inquisitorial Storm Troopers Tempestus (is that what they're called now? ) loosely modeled on the various XCom games and that sort of theme. Mostly mechanized with various transports meshed with my Inquisition forces (who now come from like 5 different factions but meh) because I enjoy having a lot of "not-Marines" with occasional Marine allies of a single unit or two. There's just something about walking up as a bog standard human, punching a Xenos and going "Welcome to Earth" that's enjoyable ;)
  14. Inquisitors and Commissars fix the Ld problem quite nicely, sprinkle them all over and call it a day.
