well thats the text from the dex ,so what im asking is if i had a 10 man ranger or vanguard squad(clade) can i have for example 2 arc rifles 1 plasma calvern i think i can i would appreciate every ones thoughts on this please kind regards

salutations brothers of the cog query: vanguard/rangers can have 1 arc/plasma/ trans aq wepon for squad under nine i beleve at 10 plus members they get that plus one more of each am i correct please advise.......

In one of my swiftest and most devastating victories of 5th Edition, my first shot of the game was a Falcon's bright Lance destroying my friend's Space Wolf Land Raider with a single hit. This is the Way. i also had a nice shiney new land raider also space wolf get one shoted by a las cannon first turn by a evil chaos dude a few years back my answer ...more land raiders crazy but it worked :P

well you can still run the knight as a aux super heavy detach and it gets knight of the cog which opens the fluff for you, im looking at biger units of rangers and vanguard with a new skitz marshal to counter my mates death guard for example: 20 rangers heavy2 galvanic rifles ie 40 shots with the strat very tasty but by the same token 20 vanguards = 60 shots most things are gona burn the robots can now have mixed arm wepons so less dakka a bit of fisting action also flexable onagers whats not to love i run a mix of eradacation and icarus unless im faceing knights/titans then the neutrons come out im also looking at a manipulus runing with my vanguards up front and the archeotech guy for smaller games all good fun

i play the wolves now for 34 years it started as a easer color scheme than my home brew i needed a lot of troops for a massive battle in 88,then they grew on me my saga has fought every enemy there has been from the lucan days through to today ;try as i may the fluff has become a a strange part of me over the years and i will be there for the wolftime and its weird but cool to quote conan the barbarian "here me grant me revenge and if not then to hell with you" :P

i think a few mining vessels scattered here and there obs affected my the galactic turmoil of the last few years maybe Mandalorian sorta only one guild is public at a time ,hunting down old tech /artifacts of the lost home worlds avenging them selves on there pillages. love the idea of "new" old tech from the past but for me they need giant jawa sand crawlers to drive around in :P -
or load then in a impulsor with force field and drive by is the new black :P

the terminators in faith and fury also have white helmets for squad sargents i painted red inserts black badge for the primaris boyos -
thats a great read our journeys are similar it seems. I remember bunking off college to travel to the nearest gw to get ragnar and some grey hunters after seeing them in white dwarf in the refectory that morning :) great times ahead brothers

where they are invaluable is putting pressure on the enemy forcing them to change there tack giving you the tactical inative. the onagar is excellent but combined arms is the way forward not so much the more spammy lists of last edition I feel -
I ran 2 fisty bots last week 1 with phophser blaster ran aegis protocol whole battle they shot up some thousand sons nicely the two turns it ok to close and then charged and mashed (that's right) up some more in close combat I run mars because that's how mine were painted from before and so far not working out too bad I tend to swamp my foes with skitz infantry and have a smatter of other units round the edges gun lines need not apply also mucking about with a modile repair post of some rangers and a Icarus Ongar protecting a engineseer which is paying good devidends too

i would say 2 enginie seers for handy repairs 2 squads of vanguard for close protection engine escort Icarus onagar and a 5 man sniper team of rangers with 2 aqubus for char assain 3 knights ...id run basic errant and paladin and warden with storm spear rockets roughly 2k room for some other bits and bobs -

the detachment is separate for lords of war soo no breaking battleforge there also the"multi melta" has a cylinder on the back like the thermal cannon on the errant I don't think its a multi melta.
