I'm thinking a more aggressive unit with shields and some Power Weapons thrown in (4 on Slayers and then the Huscarl, possibly too much for a 10 man unit) and then more of a supporting unit with Bolters and axe with just something flavourful on the Huscarl.

I absolutely love the old metal Scouts, including the Space Wolf Scouts.

I was super excited when I saw the thread title but the actual combi-weapons themselves, not a fan. You'll have to forgive me as I'm not up to date with rules but aren't most Combi-weapons still single use on the special weapon? Makes me think you don't need as much space dedicated on these to that then. Shotguns are alright. I'll likely be using third party bits.

My lads managed to use their skills to remain unseen in the local foliage thankfully, clearly they'd been on rotation with the Raven Guard. What a large box (makes sense given the Sicaran). One step closer to realising the army I've wanted since Horus Heresy second edition.

Mine is apparently hiding in a bush at the front of my place and I'm not back for another 7 hours at least. I have asked in my house's group chat if someone could bring it in but no-one has responded. Cue anxiety haha.

Random question now I'm looking to come back. I likely want the ability to field full squads of infantry as an option (although imagine I'll rarely be taking 20 men Squads as seem a little unwieldly) but my starting point is going to be smaller units and I'm also unsure how I'd equip the rest of the unit (given Grey Slayers can all take Power Weapons, I wouldn't give them all one though haha). Would it make more sense to paint up full squads (not too much of an issue for any Tacticals/Bolter Slayers I'll have) or expand squads as and when I feel like it? I can see cases for both.

I didn't have issues ordering from Element games over an hour after it went up in the UK (I was asleep haha as I work nights). Then again, maybe they don't have an accurate count from GW and it'll get cancelled.

Some of those new Chaos axes look like they'd fit in well for Fenrisian Axes, huzzah!

Yeah I snagged a copy. A free Sicaran was too good an offer to resist considering I don't have one yet.

True and I do have a copy of Inferno on my shelf. But I'd always be down for more content for any of the players in their big battles. Or would have been a brilliant time to refresh the Sisters of Silence with a new range but I feel probably too close to the Custodes refresh. I still hope we see them revamped.

So Burning of Prospero but no mention of Space Wolves? *Sad trombone.*

That's the logical thing considering we haven't seen the MkIV Assault Squad shown with Shields. I might pass on the box and wait for the separate release as whilst I know it'll be a good saving in the long run, I have no plans for the Contemptor nor Sicaran yet and I'd want to pick up probably another Assault Squad or two to make some more dynamic Grey Slayers and characters. Plus I've just decided to buy a power station and solar charging kit.

Based on what I can see of the other two Assault Squads (On the GW, I refuse to call it Warhammer yet, site) we're looking at a set of 2 sprues, duplicated? So probably 5 different poses and we know at least one is one-handed
