    I'm not entirely positive that this would be the proper place to post this, but I recently finished one of two Imperial Bastions for Planetstrike in BA colors. The original pics are gargantuan, but I've done my best to shrink one down to fit here. I'd also be more than happy to move this to a better place if necessary. At any rate, this thing took dang forever to paint, so I'm not exactly in a huge hurry to paint the second one, and the... lessee.... 9.3 feet of defense lines... http://i580.photobucket.com/albums/ss249/vostok3/bastionsmall.jpg Links to the big pics: Front door Quad Autocannon Large bastion pic I haven't added iconography yet, because the walls are textured like concrete so decals wont stick properly, and I'm not confident enough to paint 4 identical BA symbols. I'll probably eventually do them all with greenstuff when I get the second bastion painted.

    I picked up an Ironclad the other day with the intent of (obviously) putting him in DC colors. Decided to take him a step further and bring back our old friend, Moriar the Chosen. Chosen for what? Well an overhaul, that's what.     So, I attempted to try my hand at layering/blending. The results are dubious, but I'm pretty pleased with how he turned out. Red is hell to layer.     Also, forgot my Brother Corbulo that I finished and never uploaded. Yeah, I changed his weapon. I hate the old chainsword models. *shrug* http://i580.photobucket.com/albums/ss249/vostok3/Corbulo.jpg To igotsmeakabob: I do my red differently in pretty much every new project I start. With the honour guard and Corbulo I eschewed priming altogether and just used Mechrite Red as the basecoat, generously drybrushed with Blood Red, coated with red ink (found a few old bottles at my local hobby store), then further drybrushed with more Blood Red. The details and seams are all touched up with Badab Black. I really like the way these came out, but it's incredibly time consuming.

    Recently finished my Honour Guard after only having recently discovered that these models exist. The first four I banged out in as many days, but the the standard bearer took some scratchin' of the ole noodle. I'm not good with freehand stuff, and I hardly even knew what I wanted on the durned thing.
