Lord Tharand

It's mentioned time and again in the black books that the legions would take tithes from planets they conquered before moving on. Basically they were always taking in new stock to replenish the ranks. Also the black books talk a lot about the different legions success rates with implantation of the geneseed.

So I'm back again and again I took the advice to heart. Also includes the much loved Quad Mortars. :) My initial thought is that Kairos should drop to a Lord of Charge so I can ramp up more pink horrors or steal the tactical squad rhinos to pay for more. I would also consider giving Lorgar a Kharybdis to ensure he drops on turn one and it would save me the greatest pain in my life of building another storm eagle. I'd need to lose the Venator though and what to replace that with I'm not sure.

Thank you everyone for the responses. I've taken everything people have said and come up with numerous different lists but none really to my satisfaction. It's possible that Last of the Serrated Sun isn't the rite for me but I came up with the following based on your feed back. Alpha Legion's paint scheme has always intrigued me and been my white whale. I haven't been able to get it anywhere near where I felt like I could paint an army with it. I tried this scheme out quickly to decide if I liked it and oddly it matches the artwork pretty well. Apologies for bad lighting and camera. The skill and passion with which you've modeled your Raven Guard has really inspired me. You have a very wonderful army and you should be very proud! My only suggestion for the Chaplain would be to lower his helm a bit so he's looking straight ahead instead of up. That way he appears to be leading his brave squad forward. He's a wonderful looking chaplain no matter what you do with him.

I think lots of someones are going to die!

I really love your skin color. It really makes the models very striking. How did you achieve that color?
