    Haven't participated in any of these before, but it is high time I get off my backside and take part... what's the worst that can happen I Angelus Mortifer rise to the challenge of From Rage to Salvation and vow to complete Commander Dante and a Relic Sicaran Battle Tank on or before November 30th, 2015. Should I bring honour to the Blood Angels I will proudly wear the IRATUS DOMINUS badge; should I fail I will display the CARCERES IRA on my chest as a reminder of my shame. Starting pics. Dante is already about 1/3 done, and some of the Sicaran is already cleaned and ready for a wash - although making the body pieces line up correctly against the track sections is requiring mucho filing and shaving .     Today I finished my Knight's carapace. Technically he's finished, but I'm waiting on a Stormspear Rocket Pod via eBay before I post the final complete pics and backstory.

    I've been wondering where you were! Ha. I seriously had so many good intentions for the holidays but as soon as my backside hit the sofa... it was like being magnetised. New year now and back on the case again though

    Too many new projects on the go since Santa dropped the crazy on us Blood Angels. Getting back to my 2nd Company aligned Hawkshroud Knight as I need to finish him off, but just started work on my Company Champion for my Command Squad (now that we have to take him) using a small array of different bits. Pics coming soon. Also did a bit more on my Death Company Memorial, still prepping my Sicaran for undercoating (proving to be a bit of a bastid to get the hull to fit snuggly to the track slots), and now that he is properly viable again Dante is also on the prep station. So many projects, too little time!!! Updates soon...

    Quick question for you guys. When you put the hull together, did you then just glue it to the track parts or pin it as well? Had a look through the kit yesterday and was wondering how to put it together. I've been using 2-part epoxy adhesive for a lot of my big stuff recently, and I'm hoping that will be enough to ensure a strong enough bond that would withstand anything but a full-on drop kick. Do you think that would work, as I really don't want to pin this bad boy as well?

    Really like the blue highlight for the black (rather than the go-to grey). Makes it look a lot more sinister. May need to try that for my gaggle of Assassins - consider it stolen

    Those icons still look great though. The issue is often that they're quite small to occupy a large amount of wing space (too much negative space on the part). You can off-set that though by breaking up the red with "go faster stripes" or something similar. It only needs to be one colour and shape (chevron, double lines or whatever) that compliments the red and still lets the icon pop out. It would be enough to make it work better. Thinking along the same lines for when I get round to doing a Raven (or Raptor if I'm lucky).
