If they redo Corby I bloody well hope he gets some better wargear!

So we all know by now Dante is getting the primaris treatment! What are your hopes and dreams beyond a cool new model! Personally, I will be disappointed if they do not use this as an opportunity to do something really special! His fluff totally justifies it! I want to see 1. A sick new model 2. Truely reflective new rules (not just a chapter master with pistol and a average axe) 3. Some cool new fluff leading up to him being primaris'd 4. Some cool sanguinary guard upgrades as a body guard (primaris sanguinary guard) 5. MORE MORE!!! Any thoughts?

I dont know if you need to make the lieutenant dc to use him like that. Hes probably better off up the back buffing the unit. So take him with the dc but dont waste the command point!

Following this thread! I have 30 guardsmen ive never painted so that appeals to me.... but 3 mortars and a commander is a really quick and easy thing to build/paint!

Is there a link to watching a replay?

This seems really good! Good enough for me to consider trying it...... but is it working as gw intended and will they fix it before i finish building/painting?? I supose i could use a cheap imperial detachment anyway!

I agree Redeption..... He needs 1 extra rule to make him special! Im just saying for Dante rule wise, this is nothing unusual they always make him come up short somehow.

Saying that I still regularly use him. He is overcosted atm but jump packs on a chapter master is really useful and the Ba codex made it better

I feel your rant..... I used to feel the same, but ive been playing since second. This is always the way with Dante, his fluff is always awsome. Buuuut rules wise he has always been lackluster. Dante has always been slightly good at everything, but never the best at anything. Maybe Gw just dont get him or maybe they still have plans for a future release.
