I was wondering if you were going to buy that kit :P. I may have to get that fat 3-legged bugger for my plague ogryn unit.

Like the new weapon. The upper arm portion of the chain-blade looks a bit spindly to me (or perhaps it's the length that makes the weapon look spindly?). Looking at Titan ccw, they should hug closer to the body/shoulder joint, traditionally, so maybe that's what's throwing it off. I dunno, just throwing out ideas. Hey how does that Stalker compare to a forgefiend? Height-wise? Been thinking of making a variation of yours, slightly shorter, with the two hades AC underslung on either side of the torso...

Outstanding work! FYI you can use the little beads from a water filter as well (like Brita, but you don't have to stick to a brand name... just an example). The beads are different sizes, so you'll have to sort them out for which ones are appropriate. Can't wait for your mk III! I honestly don't care for certain aspects of FW's interpretation of mk3, particularly the helmet, so I'm interested to see your take on it.

Looks like you definitely improved upon and simplified my idea! Didn't think of just swapping out the front of the reaper AC with flamer suppressors. Looks good. As does the mawcannon.

Do you have any gas/oil barrels? Like for the baneblade (or maybe something slightly smaller)? You could convert a different, long-barrel heavy flamer, similar to what's on the warhound titan (only smaller obviously). I'm thinking same gun-chassis as the defiler's TL reaper, cut off the bayonet and stick a wire in it's place (for the ignitor), cut off the ammo belt (obviously) and run a wire from the oil barrel (underslung or to the rear?) to the ammo feed. This way a heavy flamer would be comparably sized to the other weapons. Tac it together, see how it looks. If it works for ya, fill in the holes on the reaper barrel with GS and you've got a Stalker Heavy incinerator!

Well you can't take both the reaper and the TL lascannons (as the lascannon replaces the reaper in the codex entry), which is why I suggested the battlecannon go underslung on the left or right shoulder. That may change rules-wise, and we're getting some more engines shortly, so it may work with the rules or it may not. Would look more titan-ish like that as well imo. Does look cool like that though.

Could have a battle cannon under one shoulder, and the reaper or lascannon under the other, if you went defiler. Of course, magnetize the shoulders so you can change that if you want... new rules in 1 week!

Salt-dipping? I'll have to look that up. [edit] You posted while I was posting! That cabling going into the skull is outstanding!

Two words. Heat gun. Using a dreadnought foot is pretty clever. My poor, poor dreadnought... I'll have to take a look at the rules before I decide what guns go under there. I like the look of the lascannon, but I may go a cheaper route, points-wise. Butcher cannons perhaps. [edit] It seems lascannon aren't legal anyhow, so maybe [i'll go with] either dual butcher cannons or a storm laser/conversion beamer combo. Electric. Now, is the lower part of the leg assembly made from the defiler claws?

Now this thing looks like it could move pretty fast! I'm really liking the design here, and it seems like it's coming along much more quickly than your scout titan as well. You could give him a really dynamic running pose that I don't think would be as plausible with it's bigger brother, too. I honestly think the legs look great. Looks like it belongs in a fast attack slot. Maybe a small bit of armor, at the shin, but that's all I would throw at it (but maybe your eye sees something mine doesn't). I like the longer tabard a bit better. Where did you get it from? Also, the lascannon mounts look quite good. What did you use for the mounts? Is the main body valkyrie hull and wing bits, with a land raider assault ramp top? [edit] I've recently ordered quite a bit of defiler legs, so I may have a go at something like this.

Sounds like a good start. That Spartan is a really cool model.

Indeed. This forum is going to grow shortly, I think.
