  1. This book is amazing man. One of the best of the 30k era. It not only reignited my love for the Blood Angels, but it handle so many of my pet peeves with some of the lore community (which tbf is mostly on reddit with these stances).
  2. I'd always go with Drop Aussault Vanguard.Makes Assault Squads tougher, brings them turn one, gives them Hit&Run in turn two. Perfect RoW for Sanguinius. Drop 60 Assault Squad dudes turn one and start killing turn 2. But isnt the Hit and Run bonus just for turn 2? Ran
  3. After seeing rules and so on, I would *ONLY* bring Sanguinius to the table if I used the Angel's Wrath Rite of War. Its apropriately named and gives him Hit and Run. The rule I feel he is missing and makes him murderous with more than one charge. Ran
  4. Ok, I don't really have the army, but I love Sevatar so I'm just here to give an idea for his new FAQ (where he has both Master of Ambush warlord traits): Infiltrate him with Terminators, and then deep strike Termies at his side without scatter. Then just yell: MASTER OF THE ATRAMENTAR!
  5. That as to be my favorite non-Strik- uh space samurai ninja predators. Ran
  6. I'm in a bit of contention with my friend, as he says that a model with fly has to measure his movement from his base, and if he wants to get in the top of a building, he has to make a diagonal movement to get there. However the rules state that the models treat the terrain like it isnt there, which makes me assume that when you move, you actually just ignore diagonal moves and go in a straight line, fisnishing the move in whatever level you must. Who is correct about this? Ran
  7. It was never OP or super powerful in the books if I recall. Ran
  8. I know its unlikely, but I would love an Archon with wings. It would help so much with the fact that its hard to add him to some of the barges without disrupting the inside unit composition. Ran
  9. I give the Swordstorm a boost for being a Gloriana class ship that somehow is as fast as the other ships of the White Scars fleet, and was one of the few loyalist Gloriana that kept fighting the traitor legions for four years until the Khan decided to use it as bait. Ran
  10. Is it a statue? Some monster? I had a friend assume its the Custodes getting their own set piece like from Stormcasts, Ran
  11. I thought about it, but honestly I have a friend that already has a purple space marine color scheme, and I didn't want to repeat it (its even the Unicorn colors, with purple, silver and gold). Ran
  12. Guys, I'm bulding a bike-heavy army that I intend to use for both Dark Angels Ravenwing and White Scars, however I'm trying to figure it out which color scheme would be better for my army. To pick them, I choosed two cool samurai clans from Legend of the Five Rings, the Crane Clan and the Lion Clan. The first have a blue and silver color scheme, while the Lion Clan has a bit of a golden one, but I chose a more black with golden trimms (though the Lion head and concept stayed). Now, to actually got through the schemes, I got these two: Generally speaking, the theme WILL be about Lions, as I have two name ideas for the chapter: Storm Lions (for the crane scheme) and Lions of the Emperor (for the Lion Clan scheme). Now I need suggestion which color you guys think is better for them? Ran
  13. I'm just happy that GW is even thinking about balancing. It is a lot better than the past few years of "We are just a model company" approach. There are probably better ways of getting armies balanced (like an army builder app), but I feel this year Chapter Approved was not JUST for balancing points, but adding a bunch of things to improve the game. Instead of releasing dozens of supplements for campaign guidelines, terrain, buldying your Land Raider, catch up mechanics for your armies, point reductions, and new missions, we get everything in the same package. In the old editions if you wanted to play apocalypse, YOU NEEDED the big apocalypse book. Want to play a campaign or build your own? Get Crusade of Fire/Damnos/Apocalypse:Warzones. Want to use THESE terrains? Get these datasheets from this website for 4.99! People may say they have a problem of how you need three books to play your army. But I would say you have two books to play your army (if that), and a book to play warhammer in general. Ran
  14. Oh, we can like this book? Got the wrong idea from this thread. Ran
  15. That table is the Empyric table from Gathering Storm. I used it before in my campaign, and it has some interesting effects on the game, but it was specially used for psyker effects. One of the interesting things was the convocation of a Greater Deamon of Khorne. Its not really game breaking, as its random, but it can last a turn until your next one, so it can change the game a bit, both in favor and damage towards you. Ran
