I leave for a few months, and now this... Can someone remind me what this thread is?

I have arrived. My armies should hopefully get here in the next 3 - 4 weeks so can start gaming :P Oh good. I have unfortunately not accumulated an army, and I don't expect to very soon.

Well there's one opponent sorted :teehee: Going to be a while before I can play. My minis will be in transit for a minimum of 3 weeks after I leave London. *sigh* - almost a month with no wargaming :( Not to worry, I left most of my army behind as well, and am slowly building it back up. And I know of another person who is willing to build his own army as well.

I live in Burlington. Been playing 40k off and on for about 10 years. Lost touch with the local gaming community, not even sure if anyone is still playing There's a number of folks (me included) who come out to the local Hobbytown USA in Greensboro. Address 40K (and other minis, but usually just 40K) on Tuesdays and Saturdays. There's limited space, especially on Saturdays. Also check out the GameOnGW Yahoo group, it's where a number of locals check in. I will have to take note of these as I am moving to Elon in a few weeks from the UK. Anyone know of any clubs near to Elon? Hey, I live in Elon, currently! What a coincidence!

While not professed in the ways of the gun, shouldn't we just settle on the Adeptus Mechanicum's official line, "it's magic"? Gosh, reading through all this stuff makes me want to learn about guns. Up to now, I've been operating on a "if it shoots bullets, it works" sort of line.

Congratulations. Not the one I voted for, but I was voting for one less dark, considering I already paint black! Wanted to spice things up for when I make a squad of these guys.

I know what you mean, both of those bother me too. I still voted for some of them though... Sometimes it can work, no doubt about it.

I don't mind if the knee is a different color (Company markings or personal heraldry and such), but having both knees the same color, different from main color, without any seemingly good reason (unless they're the Crimson Knees) bothers me a little. Or if both knees are completely different colors from the legs, and also from each other. Luckily none of the ones here are like that.

Well, I cast my vote. I must say, it is a really good selection, though I always found alternate color knee-pads a little annoying, especially when it's too balanced. Is that what's popular now?

Well, if no one chooses mine, I reserve it for myself.
