Sadly I think the Master Crafted Power Weapon is the better choice. We always have Unbridled Ferocity if you need to punch up against something

So, I hear it’s a common issue. My brand new Logan Grimnar was missing piece #20 (his head). I happened to have an old Chariot Logan NIB in the depths of my closet, with a spare 80mm base and the Wolves from the head takers kit I made a temporary stand in to play with

The Grey Hunters are in the Drop Pods each with a Wolfguard Battle. They were good at assisting in quite a few roles but where they seemed to excel was when assaulting an objective. In my last game against Blood Angels I dropped in on opposite sides of an objective with Lemartes and 10 Death Co. they were oathed, I unleashed 60 bolter shots rerolling hits, lethal and sustained rerolling wounds. Was a devastating blow leaving just 4 Death Company and the Chappy. Now I know there are better unit choices, but they feel right to me. the Dreads are OK, they are a bit high in points I think but I play rule of cool so like to take them, they are fragile so the form a 2nd wave following up behind the TWC

My play style is to go hard early and then try to keep the lead, late game armies seem to really be able to capitalize on this and on average I’m playing at what feels like a 6-9 point handicap. Old timers will notice I still field some bikes even if TWC has taken center stage last few years. I’ve also been messing with Drop Pods again. I don’t care what anyone says 10 GreyHunters in a Pod with a Battle Leader puts in work. tweaks are being made for my next event in October, hopefully I can bring myself to post a bit more. Sorry this ran long winded without much being said. oh, I did paint a new unit for this event even if it was a bit of a rush job

I played a 1250 Highlander format game yesterday. I switched up the list to make room for a pack of Blood Claw Bikers. Now I’ve always loved my biker packs but damn, these guys are good. I used a pack of 5 which included Attack Bike with HB, a MG and a PF. They formed my first wave, with my Wulfen a Wulfen Dread and Murder fang following as fast as they could on my left flank. My ThunderWolves and Lord I’m ThunderWolf rolled up my right (these I held back a bit out of LOS) The Bikers shot up then pulled off a first turn assault against a Warsuit that deployed a little too close, they then drew fire from the majority of my opponents army as he shifted his position allowing for a nice follow up with my other assault units and leaving the right side clear of any real threats for my Cav. Now to just squeeze in good ole’ Thorgrimm in his bike into the list...

Correct me if I’m wrong. But I think litanies are done in the command phase, so the Wolf priest would not be able to use it on a BC pack drop podding in

I've been using 10 man squads to good effect, The Taurox Prime is downright nasty, especially in numbers. Though the new army I'm building doesn't have any. At 2000 I'm currently building 2 co commanders 2 Tempestor Primes 4x 10 man Scion Squads 4x plasma, 4xmelta, 4x plasma, 4x volley 5x 10 man vets with 3x melts, 3x melts, 3x melts, 3x plasma, 3x grenadelauncher These guys are mounted in 5x Valkyries... I'm thinking it'll be a fun list to play
