  1. Just absolutely awesome! I've wanted to do this myself, but haven't had the time or money. Cool to see someone actually do it! It made me think of tactics though. I can just see a company of Space Marines advancing across a snowy field, and the enemy, whether they be traitor guard, Tau or some other squishy enemy, using fallen Space Marine bodies as cover. After all, those bodies still wear the toughest armour around. Nice to hide behind. Would be interesting to play a game where that was actually possible.
  2. Thanks Dave! :) Love your artwork, so thumbs up for that! :tu: Well, that is too bad Juan! You're missing out. I have an extremely extensive collection and while I don't get to use my books as much as I like, I often think of them as reference material I can go to when needed, or entertainment when I want it. - It's always there waiting for me and it expands the 40k universe and enriches the hobby in general. As for collector's editions like the Black Crusade CE, I look at that as art just as much as stuff in a book. I put the really good stuff like that in my display cabinet. :)
  3. He, he. No problem. ;) I'm sure it will be a much appreciated gift!
  4. Oh my! Well, I already have both those books and I am certain you won't be disappointed. As for the Writ, I found it on the FFG site: http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/ffg_cont...writ-cutout.png
  5. Well, like I said. It is still available. :) He, he. Well, it was money well spent. Hm.. Right you are. Well, as that is a part inside the book I don't actually think that is allowed by the rules of the B&C, because it would replicate copyrighted material. But now that you bought it, you will see your own Writ soon enough.
  6. I'm sure that both the written content and the artwork will be great! Won't have time to read it just yet unfortunately, but I am looking forward to getting around to it.
  7. He, he. :( Well, the good thing is that they are still in stock...
  8. Just received my copy of the Black Crusade RPG Limited Collectors Edition today. Unfortunately it was damaged during transport and it is not metal like the Deathwatch Limited Collectors Ed. RPG, but beyond that it is pretty darn awesome. This thing is a real piece of art, so I figured I would share some pictures: http://www.codexguardianangels.com/temp_material/Black-Crusade-RPG/Black-Crusade-RPG-front.jpg http://www.codexguardianangels.com/temp_material/Black-Crusade-RPG/Black-Crusade-RPG-Rear.jpg http://www.codexguardianangels.com/temp_material/Black-Crusade-RPG/Black-Crusade-RPG-front-45.jpg http://www.codexguardianangels.com/temp_material/Black-Crusade-RPG/Black-Crusade-RPG-rear-45.jpg http://www.codexguardianangels.com/temp_material/Black-Crusade-RPG/Spine-side.jpg http://www.codexguardianangels.com/temp_material/Black-Crusade-RPG/Black-Crusade-RPG-front-spine.jpg http://www.codexguardianangels.com/temp_material/Black-Crusade-RPG/Black-Crusade-RPG-Book-spine-45.jpg http://www.codexguardianangels.com/temp_material/Black-Crusade-RPG/Black-Crusade-RPG-front-spine-45.jpg SYMBOL DETAILS: http://www.codexguardianangels.com/temp_material/Black-Crusade-RPG/Black-Crusade-RPG-Chaos-star.jpg http://www.codexguardianangels.com/temp_material/Black-Crusade-RPG/Black-Crusade-RPG-Khorne.jpg http://www.codexguardianangels.com/temp_material/Black-Crusade-RPG/Black-Crusade-RPG-Nurgle.jpg http://www.codexguardianangels.com/temp_material/Black-Crusade-RPG/Black-Crusade-RPG-Slaanesh.jpg http://www.codexguardianangels.com/temp_material/Black-Crusade-RPG/Black-Crusade-RPG-Tzeentch.jpg 40k SCALE PERSPECTIVE: http://www.codexguardianangels.com/temp_material/Black-Crusade-RPG/40k-perspective.jpg
  9. It used to be stickied alongside the other Ultramarine projects. I must say I much preferred it that way, but the projects were unstickied as part of a clean up ages ago.
  10. Very nice! I like both the shields, and argh! Now I also want a prize like that Brother Tyler! :P Hopefully I will be able to submit my own shield by the end of the year.
  11. Trask? - Im sure GW was somewhat inspired by Marvel at the time. So any plan on updating the list?
  12. Hm... This might be of interest for a bit of added info: http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/ffg_cont...rines_promo.pdf
  13. Stumbled across these and I don't think they have been mentioned before: Lexicanian Elisar Trask Titan Legions / Codex Titanicus, p. 39. My searches also indicate he may be in WD 120, p. 12-13. (unconfirmed). Kane Another Ultramarine that may appear in WD 120, p. 12-13. (unconfirmed). This may also be of interest: http://wh40k.lexicanum.de/wiki/Kategorie:P..._(Ultramarines) When was the main list last updated by the way? It's a bit hard to locate the main list in this thread these days.
