As an update , I went camping for a week , but I am almost done with my Ven Dread . I just have to finish painting the arms , so it will probably be a by-the-skin-of-my-fangs type of deal. Grantyr Greymantle Posted June 30, 2007 Share Posted June 30, 2007 Here's a few pics of my Ven Dread (who's also, according to my fluff, my Wolf Lord - I play him with Ven Dread stats but he was and even though he now is encased in a Ven Dread, still serves as my Great Company's Wolf Lord.) He's about 90% done, but playable right now (I'm adding a missile launcher to the top, fluffingly being designed and built for him by a grateful Adept. ulrak Posted July 1, 2007 Share Posted July 1, 2007 I have failed miserably to complete my oath :( I managed to get my guys painted just not based which I was to do yesterday but I was attacked by some vicious alcoholic drinks and was in no fit state to do much tbh :D I will hereby be drinking with the puppies with their watered down ale as punishment. The squad was painted to an almost complete level yet final details were left uncompleted as were the bases. Both transport options (pod and rhino) were assembled and undercoated but no further progress was made. Although the fault is my own some responsibility must go to my drinking buddy Hana (Bloody hell those Polish women can drink), upcoming exams and my beautiful girl. Actually, I never even got to the point of taking an oath to complete a given model/ squad, but I feel a sense of shame nonetheless. I had planned on completing something for this, but life and a foray into Warhammer Fantasy distracted me. Hopefully, I will get to painting some of my Packs, and will post WIP shots as I do.
