BLOGS

You can access your BLOG in several ways:

Via the User Controls at the top of the forum where it says My Blog
Via your User Control Panel under the BLOG section
Via the BLOG link at the top of the forum and then finding your blog within the listing.

Creating a Blog

In order to creat the blog you must choose the CREATE A BLOG option from your User Control Panel. You will be given the user agreement screen before proceeding further. Read it over, put a check in the box and hit the NEXT button:

Please be aware that BLOGs fall under the board rules, particularly about being Power armor related. Those that fail to follow this rule will be removed.

Next you must name and describe your BLOG:

Setting up your Blog

Now you will see the various options for your entries. The example shown has a completed entry pictured:

The areas shown are the:

Calendar
Last Entry
Blog Links
Most Recent Comments

You can arrange these to an extent as you would with a regular blog.

Above those you will see 4 (four) buttons:

Your Blog Settings
Content Blocks
Entry
Rating

These buttons will help you manage your blog.

The "Your Blog Settings" will bring up the following menu:

Here you can set up your blogs look, categories, interfaces and general settings.

Content Blocks allows you to set up content blocks for your BLOG and add custom blocks:

The entry button is what you click to start a new entry and the Ratings button allows you to rate your own and others blog with a rating from 0 to 5 stars.

Creating an Entry

After clicking the ENTRY button and selecting Add Entry you will be prompted to make a Blog post similar to a post in a topic:

Before you post the entry you must choose DRAFT or PUBLISH from the drop down menu. Draft entries will only appear to you until you change them to draft. If you post as a draft and then come back to your blog later you can easily change this to a published entry by clicking the ENTRY OPTIONS button:

Pushing that button brings up several other buttons which allow you to choose as you wish with your DRAFT or PUBLISHED entry including:

Make Draft
Publish
Delete
Edit
