Snackes Posted May 30, 2008 Share Posted May 30, 2008 They do look great and all, but at least Tarvitz is wrong fluff wise. He's supposed to wield a bolter and a combat knife, not a sword. And as I understood from the novel, the captains didn't have that much detail. They were pretty plain (Like SM commanders). No robes and no shoulder-eagle. Messanger p.s dont worry about him not fitting into fluff, according to the fluff space marines should be bigger and the rhinos should fit 10 marines. The rest of the army is coming along nicely too, although I did grin when I realised where the sword for the sergeant was from - that said, given Fulgrim nicked the Laeans (sp) sword, maybe nicking foul xenos blades runs in the family! Also, is the base for Tarvitz one of the Chapter Masters minis? That's the only thing that I can think of it being. Anyway, very lovely work.
