SW Rune Priest WIP Finally decided to make my Avater

Beef

Ok the model has the grey/blue painted. all the coats are doone so there is nothing else to do to the armour. Its actually more Blue than the picture shows.

Beef: looks good although the detail of the black areas is hard to see in the picture. Very interested in what's next!

Muzzy: please don't make fun of Russ' l.b.c.. It's not dignified and he might kill you when the Wolf Time comes.

Edit: spelling

LOL I'm not making fun of it, I called it sacred, as in holy....=P

To Beef: I can't wait to see a more detailed or better lighted picture of the model =) From what I can see it looks very detailed and the axe is awesome (gonna have to beat you up to get it from you =P)...keep up the great work =)

I didn't notice this in the first picture, but you use the same bases that I put my IC's on. ;)

I'm also curious to know what you're always blotting out there in the picture? :P

I like my wolves furry! ;)

I have an idea........

It has to do with a part of a DE model, Amy Winehouse and something i won´t call by it´s name cause this is a family-friendly forum.

Am i right, Beef?

Ah, gotcha :P

There was (not sure if it's still there) a company in Germany that had a model range where all the blisters were contained in black boxes. I had some on my old chaos rhino and land raider.

Anyways, nice work Beef and keep them pics. coming. :tu:

Yeah, i remember them, but it was not a german company IIRC. But the model under the shadow is from the DE. I can say exactly what he had used. I can see it at the shape of the shadow over the model.

Damn you detective types, it was supposed to be a suprise. Your right though/ And the axe is not from the Khorne guy, although its very similar, It was from an old dwarf model. they have the best axe heads around

I actually thought the same as D. Bjoern that it was the Khorne champion.

That model was originally the nilla' Librarian in TDA before he was attacked by GS correct? ;)

Again, can't wait to see it finished, GET TO IT! :D

Some more progress, I tried to find a tutorial for painting fur but could not manage it so I had to imptovise. If somebody puts a link to one i may amend the fur before the model is finished. 3 different pictures under different light sources so you can see the shading a bit better on the armour

@wolf 89 yes it was the nilla libby before he fell into a tub of GS

He still looks like the victim of a tragic assault by a horde of furbies

Space wolves actually use psychic Tribbles to fool our enemies into a false sense of compasion, shortly before we bash in their heads with a giant double bladed axe. "tribble caller". Gonna be out next dex.

ok so this guy is nearly done. I admit the fur cloak was a bit much but overall i am really happy with the way the blue/grey armoiur turned out

just the base left to do and the bone on the shoulder pad
