Just as the title says, has anyone written any fluff for the leadership of the Legio such as their captains and chaplains. I am creating a company of the Legio and I wanted to know if there is any fluff out there for them.
Any help would be much appreciated.

i will be seconding one of my chapter to the legio and you may use him if you like
Padre (chaplain) Salvador Orona
originally chaplain of the imperial fist 5th company after the rynns world crusade and the reformation of the chapter the lack of living battle brothers in a sense left alot of "command voids" within the chapter being as the good padre did not have anyone to lead the honorable master Kantor saw it fit to second padre orona to the legio bolter and chainsword.
he brings a fervour for the imperium and a hatred of all things xeno, herectic or traitor the likes of wich have not been seen since the days of the great crusade.

Some characters are in development. For the most part, we're staying away from developing "pet" characters - those that are mini-me characters of members here (for example, Brother-Sergeant Tyler won't be getting any nifty rules, nor will Brother Captain Orch'n'Dng - or however his name is spelled).
The Legio as a whole is being re-examined and an update is in store in the future, pending a few other projects.

I would say many of the stories in the B&C and the Arena of Death sub forums would count as fluff for Legio Characters. – Maybe not Admin characters or high rankers all the time, but characters none the same.
Like my very own: Durus Q Ferrum.
The AoD stories also portray some of the Legio's reoccurring arch enemies; like Tomax Hell, and Malakai Kroenen.
Finally, if you havent allready, you should check this article

Agreed, though there is fluff out there on the lads in some of the older AoD's
Ive wanted to write a back story for the Captain for some time, but havent gotten around to it.
I look at him now with great fondness. He's been on loan to a friend for over a year...I need him back *sob*

He's just a normal ol' Captain, who gets the job done. Straight stats, staunch Imperial who loves his Chapter and his adopted one even more.
And its Capt. O'rchd'ng..Tyler

The group story thread, above, is awesome btw!

i have written fluff for where my entire chapter came, from, so im pretty sure it wouldnt be so hard to come up with stuff for single chars
The Blades of Glory (named before i heard of the terrible movie)
(basically they are a (super)human face (covered with a helmet) to the inquisition/deamonhunters becasue 1) the inquisition found that under investigation chapters of space marines always made sure to follow imperial creed to the letter, but if they were on campaign with brother marines they would either be less strict, or maybe even share their discontent with the imperium. and 2) using plasma weaponry is fun
becasue they have so much contact with latent heretics they were created over several hundreds of years from surplus deamonhunter geneseed (which would be hard to come by im guessing) and given similar mental training to them. but there the similarities end they are more specialised in fighting traitor marines, meaning they make greater use of plasma weaponry (which has lead to me having 13 plasma cannon weilding marines and several times buying an entire stock of plasma pistols to make my "assault" mark of plasma guns) and have their entire razorback corp made up of stronos pattern tanks.
To get promoted from the 10th company, they must get 5 comfirmed kills of traitor marines, ect until to get into the 1st company, they must kill members of the original traitor legions in large numbers, which is why, the 1st company of my chapter is rather small, made up of highly elite combat veterans, who in other chapters would be first company captains or even chapter masters (which is the reason i give for the number of special characters i use in army lists).

What does the above have to do with the Legio, the mascot Chapter of the Bolter & Chainsword website?
Perhaps you ought to post your stuff in the Liber Astartes forum where other members can provide feedback on your DIY Chapter.

hey ive been wondering about something, how does someone in the legio get terminator armor, or do they even have terminator armor? im pretty sure a chapter wouldnt give up something as precious as TDA to the legio.

We figure that the Legio gets tactical dreadnought armour in the same way that the Deathwatch does - from the Adeptus Mechanicus. This might require certain quid pro quo exchanges (e.g., sending teams to assist explorator fleets, etc.).
