Like the title says, how important are the instruments and what squad sizes do they start to make a difference? I am semi reluctant to spend points on the instruments for squads that im fielding that number 8 or better. I'd like to hear some others opinions and experiences with them. Thanks.

I use them for small squads only, such as my 6 Seekers of Slaanesh, but if I'm struggling for points they are the first thing to go :tu:

I feel they are important in about every troop unit, of every size, because of how Wound Allocation by Shooting now works.

It just plain helps survivability! Mind you, not by much but... every little bit counts and may make a difference.

Besides that, it's cheap and who knows, may come in handy in combat...
