had a game this weekend and we decided to do a video batrep; here's the video links for ya guys! *note, you'll prolly notice some inconsistencies in the verbal and on-screen KP totals; it was late (finished the game at 1am) when we did this and we forgot a KP here and there mid-game.

there's also a Vanguard Vet Culln now as well, which is in the same pdf file. his special rule in that form is that if his squad is outnumbered in assault, they re-roll all of their attacks. take a bare min. 5 man unit with culln, give his brothers lightning claws, and as long as they assault a 6+ model squad, they get to re-roll to-hit AND to-wound rolls! better than space wolf lightning claws.

but you can see where they're going with the new characters; trying to push people to buy those kits so they sell more.

and in case the pdf link doesnt work, here's a recap of Haas' rules:
He's +60pts to your squad, but he comes with some nice little goodies;
He has 2 wounds instead of the usual 1.
He comes with Artificer Armour, giving him a 2+ Armour save.
He has an Iron Halo, giving him a 4+ Invulnerable save.
He has a Power Sword.
He has a Special Rule, called Always Advance; this rule gives his squad Relentless while he's alive, meaning they can move and shoot that big heavy weapon in the squad, can still make that 24" bolter shot after moving 6", and IIRC, can still assault even if they rapid fired?

considering a captain would pay 15pts for the Art. Armour, and 15pts for the P. Sword, and a Stormshield is 15pts(closest optional wargear for an iron halo) that's around 45pts of optional wargear that's coming on a tactical sergeant. along with gaining an extra wound and Relentless. definitely worth your while if you wish to field him.

Ok so i managed to bag myself a crap load of bikes cheap and this is what i have done with them .

so this is less an update and more of a dedication pledge; my goal, as of today, is to assemble and field the entire 4th battle company.
my setup is gonna go like this:

i've put into quotations the Mk of Armour i'll be making each squad with, so it's easy to distinguish who is who on the battlefield if they get clustered up. 6th squad's armour, is going to be a kitbash of GW and some 3rd party legs and torsos from Anvil Industry. Squads I, II, IX, and X, i already have built, just in different stages of painting, so i need to invest in the remaining 4 tacticals, and the 2 assault squads.

and eventually, i will have alternate squads for Boarding Action games, using the shields, and an as-unyet-determined way of showing void hardened armour. i'm thinking of using newly acquired guitar wire to make some existing models bulkier for it. i'll also be bolstering my company with 3 full scout squads; a sniper, a bolter, and a pistol/knifes squad. and i'll be making some other random extra models as well as the occasion sees fit.

but there you have it. my pledge to bring our chapter to full company strength.

Wow they look awesome loving the dirty look around the stacks and tracks . I do have 1 question those devastators they look a little too space wolf grey or is that just the lighting . Any chance of an army wide shot and maybe what you have on the work bench .

I think its the lightning and those small Space Wolves bitz together. They are about the same grey as my tactical squad, base is VMA Black Grey, highlighted with VMA Black Grey and VMC Cold Grey mix.

Currently I'm working on my second tactical squad, 2 Land Raider Achilles and Land Raider Helios. I'm trying to get both Achilles finished during the weekend, after that I could try to take army wide photo!

Crazy Eight: Yes, I use washes. Not much, mostly on vents and that kind of parts. I use airbrush so I make most of the shading and highlightning with it (zenithal style).

I have Badger Renegade Velocity. Its my first airbrush, so I cant compare it to anything, but I've been very happy with it!

Race they are worth it played one in a tournament and it lasted every game. Just stay away from meltabombs and monstrous creatures.

I thought they where ammune to melta weapons .they are an awesome tank i had an idea of sticking some scounts in them and sit on an objective lol

melta bombs do not have the melta rule(lame I know) but it has never been faq. I did the same but I had an apothecary instead of sergeant and a techmarine as well so I could repair it. I have 2 more and an armored proteus for my red scorps army I am picking up at adepticon. I still have no rhino/razorbacks lol just a ton of landraiders and variants.
