Hi,

My name is Matt, I live in Auckland, New Zealand (duh)

I regularly play at GW Sylvia Park on Thursday nights if you care to cruise along for 'vets' night.

I can usually be easily identified by my pink Tyranids (yes, Vallejo PINK!) Since they are my main army I should stand out and be easy to find.

I'm not nearly as scary (or smelly) as I look so feel free to come up and say hello if you see me playing.

I also have a small Tau army in the works, and almost a whole Imperial Fists company... Not far off now, only need 3 more squads.

I have a Tournament sized (8'x4') table at home in a generous garage, so I can potentially host games if required.

If you have had those 'Nids for over four years, I think we've met! ;) Small world this NZ.

I'm in Hamilton.

There's a fairly decent forum set up for South Islanders (called imaginatively enough, South Island Wargaming forum) - is there anything similar for the North Island?

Anyway, I'm looking for players in Upper Hutt, just moved up here.

Jukto is a kiwi??

I see your work everywhere! lol moreso over on Relic! I'm moving down to paraparam at some point which is fairly close. But that could be a long wait. Waiting to get a posting in the Police. Currently up in Wanganui where there is a tiny group of us who just play at each others houses. Palmerston North has a small club too but i know very little about the Wellington guys.

Well, there's the Wellington Warlords but the opinion of the guys in Christchurch Cavaliers (my old club) is that they're a bunch of powergamers so I haven't bothered to investigate (plus can't be assed with the commute).

At this stage I'm intending to take my LotD to Natcon (being held in Upper Hutt yay) so you could come along and see them in person.

Check out tabletopterrain.com for a few Auckland gamers that will be able to help you out.

Palmerston north is held at riverdale (?!) school, kind of near massey university. Anyway the best way to confirm that is to go into heroes for sale and they will set you right. I've only been a few times and can't remember if that is the name of the school.

Alternatively give this number a text 027 767 1736 and I will will find out in the meantime for you.

Jukto you could have a wee look through the member list on pityak studios. That was set up by a welligton guy, and though deadish now might provide you with some details for welligton gamers.

Cheers,

John

Hmm... I don't really know my way around there; I've just been boarding at Longburn Adventist College this term.

I'll ask some of my friends in the dorms next year.

I occasionly play at warlords, i live only a block from their gaming place, they are hardly powergamers, i have never faced an army that is too powergamerish. I would recommend them but you could always go to the vets night 4-8 on thursday at gw courtney.
