there was a best painted price which got a death guard army. I dìdn`t understand why this army won, maybe because it was the only one with an army display. But there were several better painted ones ; for example mine, :) . When i get pictures i can show them to you.

The scoring was:

Mission 1 (4 objective markers): normal victory points + 10 points if you had more objectives / 5 if both players had 2

Mission 2 (the "conquer and hold mission" ;don`t know the exact english name) normal victory points + 10 points if you had more objectives / 5 if both players had 1

Mission 3 (Killpoints) normal Victory points + Killpoints

my scoring was:

Deathwing/Black Templars: 8/22

Deathwing/Eldar 24/6

Deathwing/Deathguard 26/4

Beautiful.

If these type of feedback comments had been given to me my head wouldn't fit through a door haha

When I finish my BA, hopefully in the next month, I was toying with the idea of a small Deathwing army but I feel that I wouldn't be able to do them justice now. A step by step tutorial with stage pictures of how you achieve that bone finish would be a great help though.

Again though, brilliant work.

Good idea, we can immortalize them in the Librarium.

This is able to be an =][= Army of Legend =][=.

I think this is the one that will take a bit to check and the fact that this is still a Army in Progress.

  • The next guideline is that the painter and modeler has put down notes on their conversions and models, to explain what they tried to achieve with the particular unit and how they went about it. After all, this program is not just about getting pretty pictures into the Librarium.

ok here is the primed dread.

My intention on the base was that he just smashed through a door.

Hope you like it

outstanding work.

as for space hulk it is probably in the works since GW has decided to start re-releasing its old games. Talisman is out and Blood Bowl has a better GW mini site as well as a computer game in the works. Besides, think how many of us would buy space hulk just for the terminators if they made them really well?

VanSan, I really love your work, but I don't quite understand your layering. I have a scale modelling background, so I can airbrush any picture you like, but I'm not sure how to attempt the layering.

Would you be able to explain it a little more please? Are your layers more like washes, rather than full coats of paint?

I apologise if this is a newbie question. I simply love your Deathwing paintwork and would really like to try it myself.

if nothing special is written my normal layers are just normal coats of paint.

The only exception on the model so far is the white colour which i mixed with lot of water, about 50:50.

When i need inks, i use them pure or mixed with water, this depends if its the last layer on the model or not.

For example the Flesh Wash in step 2 is pure, in comparison the Gryphone Sepia in step 6 is mixed with water in a proportion of about 30:70 (ink:water).

Hope i could help a bit.
