Hey guys,

I wanted to know what is the next book to be published in the HH series after Fallen Angels. I know it's a long way off yet but I wanted to think about what to get after I've finished reading: Ciaphas Cain, Blood Angels, and others etc.

So, What's next? Anyone have any ideas?

I had a look around and I think the release order is something like this:

Then, not sure - that's what I want to know. I heard somewhere that it might be 2 books about Prospero.

I've just noticed something.... in thw background of the Fallen Angels cover is that a Necron Monolith? or something other Necron'ie?

Could be. That is the best cover by far though IMO.

(oh no this is starting to turn into a thread about book covers lol)

I remember reading sometwhere that 2 books were being written about the Space Wolves and Thousand Sons. One book from the 1kson perspective, the other from the SW's. Abnett is said to be writing the Wolves' half.

This is what Abnett confirmed at GDUk2008 when I spoke to him. He also told me his favorite cerial was Honey Oats.

But yer, Battle of Prospero is currently been written by McNeil n Abnett - 1 doing each side of the story...

Im confused about what SM chapter that is on the cover of Fallen Angels?

Space Marine Legions didn't concern themselves with paint, until a bit after.

Besides...it kinda looks black...if you squint really hard...

Do you know what Tales of Heresy and Fallen Angels are all about?

Tales of Heresy - collection of short stories

Fallen Angels - the fall of Caliban hopefully and not another waste of 8 hours of my life a'la Descent of Angels...

Dark Angels, thats fairly obvious, isnt it?

I think he's getting at the point that DA wore black armour at this point in history... Not green :)

I want my BA HH book! ;)

Likewise, that would be nice.

It seemed to me that they looked like they had more metallic rather than black armour. Oh well.

EDIT: Just seen him, Tales of Heresy, bottom right corner: WORLD EATER! And not pre-heresy either.

Im a little confused at this, so far the HH series has kept an element of the timeline in tact within its stories.

The trouble for me is that Lion El'Jonson didnt lay seige to Caliban until after the Heresy was over, infact because of the 'state' of the Imperium at that time, the whole thing was kept quiet within the Dark Angels.....The destruction of Caliban was probably just attributed to another Chaos battle!

Personally i think this book is going to be a story about Luther and his quest to subvert the minds of the Dark Angels around him, a little similar to the division amongst the Luna wolves with Loken!

Edit: Im stoopid i just realised that was the point keith was trying to make when saying the 'fall of Caliban'. Please feel free to ignore my little rant!

  • 2 weeks later...

Ahh thanks metcalfedan for the images of the next two HH novels! I hoped they would follow up from the Descent of Angels book as while it was good in that it hinted a lot at who Cypher is, I did still want more of a heresy era story.

Definitely a books dealing with the Thousand Sons and the Blood Angels would be cool.
