I think the datasheet looks good, maybe add some capacity to it (10 more maybe?) Or maybe you could base your datasheet on the stormlord, another transport super heavy. And maybe within 6" units are fearless or at Ld 10.
Also, is it just the pic or are the side rails over the treads different?

So, whats with that? I can see how you could mount one big and one smaller weapon on those slots, (Or one MASSIVE weapon, Vulcan Mega Bolter anyone?) It doesn't look bad, it just is different.

I know you put a lot of work into making that plasticard plate fit, but at the moment it looks sooo bland and boring. Have you thought about replacing at least some of it with bitz? Like some left over hatches or the turbine-plate you get extra with Vindicators. If you put stuff like that on, in symmetrical fashion, it might look better than just putting on smaller bitz onto the giant plasticard sheet.

Aiya!!! I find that I need to be REAL specific with you. This is possibly going to look like a normal Land Raider on top, but scaled up, which means that there will be enough detail to make you happy. The Vindicator idea is good, but that plate is small...and that includes buying 2 of those, and I have no real use of them anyways. (Terminator army...)

Hmm...people at the Ammobunker are thinking exactly opposite. They think that the capacity should be 15 (Which they think is the LRC capacity, which is actually 16) so I don't know where they're getting their facts...I just don't understand how something that almost doubles in size has the same transport capacity...and..I think 40 is a bit much.

I know what you're heading for with the picture. But its going to have a Helios Missile system on top (Oooh?! so big (sarcasm)). The Vulcan Megabolter (which you've been suggesting for a while now) sounds good, but that means I have to 1)make my own or 2)buy the new tank, which puts me $90 in the hole, AND I have to wait for it to come out before I can finish this tank. And I think that a Vulcan Megabolter won't look too good on a rotational piece...quite funny even. I don't want it fixed, because then I have to rotate my tank in order to get the firing I want. And adding the Vulcan Megabolter (which is quite Imperial Guardish) will move this tank more towards the Stormlord or Macharius, which the people at Ammobunker are telling me to "count as" with this thing.
Something I don't want to do.

looking at your posts here, and the replies you got on ammobunker, i can firstly say, those guys are idiots.
like with the LRC capacity. i can see 15 being a typo the first time, but in all the other posts, makes me think he's on crack.
i agree on your troop capacity of 30. i would say it has to be no smaller than 26 troops, so you can fit a full termi squad, plus the 3 HQ character choices that are allowed to take termi armor. anything less for a super heavy tank just isnt enough. i also think that since you've got such a wider central frame, a larger engine, and thicker track assemblies, that you would NOT lose troop capacity for ANY weapons loadout choice. the engines large enough to handle the demand of the extra weaponry. the track assemblies are large enough to hold the additional capacitors for 4 TLLC sponsons. or the ammo for hurrican bolters, assault cannons, the fuel canisters for flamers, and so on. a standard LR's internal space is the same width of 2 track assemblies sitting side by side, which you HAVE with how you and dogma are placing the hulls. i say the troop capacity should be FIXED at 26-30 troops.
oh, and go ape:cuss on your weapon selections guys. your building our version of that large class titan here on tracks. PURGE AND PURIFY! or something like that.
on a side note, Space marine Hamster! (yes, its my hamster pulling a shock and awe out of my new terminus LR land raider hamster

I like the way you assessed this model. The way that you explained everything is greatly appreciated. I might have to just stick it at 30, it'll keep me from having to figure out the new transport cap. And the full termie squad+3 heros, GREAT! At least someone was thinking like me. Originally, I was going to have my Marneus Calgar COUNT AS, and his 3 honor guard come out (30+terminator armor=32)...but now, I'm back at Deathwing, which only get 5 man Terminator Squads.. =-(...oh well! =-D

What exactly does this mean? I was thinking of adding Thunderfire cannon sponsons ...cuz that would be so awesome! But I have to rethink this...its kind of dumb...but so awesome!
I also dwelled on the idea of long-barreled Lascannons. For extra range 72" or 84" or something...that would be great..but the long barreled idea looked dumb...

oh, hehe. i swore, so they censored it. i meant to say go crazy with your weapon ideas; it IS a super heavy, and prolly the only thing close to a reaver titan that the SM's would field. plus since its a tracked, not a walker, you dont have to worry about weight balance cause at worse, they can always just pull more guns along on a trailer assembly

Ah...apeshiza. =-D I'll think about heavier weapons, that just means I need to buy more =-( and do more work. =-( which means I have to wait way longer in order to paint this =-(

Aw snaps, Big Booty. Big Booty numba 1! I was way tired last night (15 hours of moving heavy band equipment, and playing frisbee..and taking pictures..and other stuff) so I didn't even turn on my computer.
The thread at the Ammobunker has been moved back to the modeling aspect of the tank, and I won't be taking note of anything that comes in as rules information, but I'm still open to some ideas here.

Heres the scale shot, I just figured the scale shot with the Terminus Ultra Land Raider would be enough...since they're both Land Raiders.. =-/


Heres the done engine, its already attached to the tank. =-P I took off the separaters between the vents, so they're bigger, and they weren't uneven. Gapfilling will be the last thing I do.


Heres the engine with a misaligned top plate. It fits fine, but I'm going to cut a new one, so that the lines will all be straight, and it fits perfectly.

Those two White Dwarves are SO FREAKING AWESOME!! The last White Dwarf I got was the one when Apocalypse came out, and the only other two were the Dark Angels one, and the one after that. White Dwarf is SO MUCH BETTER now!! It was great to begin with, don't get me wrong, but now all the stuff is Apocalypse...ho yes!!

I win. LRE is about 1 inch longer, 1.5 inches wider, and almost 2cm taller than a Shadowsword (without main gun). I win. =-D A notable superheavy if I say so myself. =-D

Vulcan Mega Bolter FTW! (please tell me it's permenant)

Your LRE could proxy very well for a SM stormlord, or a stormlord varient (varient of a varient?)
1) It is very close in size to a baneblade varient
2) Both LRE and stormlord are superheavy tansport tanks
3) Mega bolter is awesome (looks good and it's functional)

Your video has inspired me, I'm gonna scrape some cash together and make a Omni-Baneblade like the one in your video. (I don't think i can post a stormlord wip thread on B&C, stupid guard tanks)

You better appreciate this..and comment!! I spent 5 minutes typing..then I spent 20 trying to figure out how to get it to pdf (on a Mac..I know PCs can..so Macs can too...somehow). Then I spent another long point of time trying to figure out why Photobucket wouldn't upload .Pdfs..then I realized that Preview converts .Pdfs into .img! Victory!

Under "Venerable Presence" there are multiple options for the attributes that the models gain. I will be choosing one, but I want your input on which one.



The weapons..Range, Str, and AP are "norm" beacuse I don't want to go against GW copyright laws. Special SHOULD be "norm" but its not =-D I was going to add "points" but that'll come in a later time.



I understand it all (because I wrote it) but if you need anything clarified, let me know!

I would like it if all input to the datasheet were directed here.

Hey man, just wanted to let you know I checked out your videos. Well done! Very informative, I'm going to use those Techniques on my LRR and my Predator and IC dread when it comes out on 2nd wave. The Magnets you used are the same ones from a few posts back correct???
