kernmist Posted November 26, 2008 Share Posted November 26, 2008 You know what, i've not considered doing an army like that before. It looks super quick to get a lot of marines painted up that way. I'm going to keep doing my Ultramarines the traditional way as I want all the army to be consistent, but I have a horrible fear that I may end up buying a new Space Marine (maybe Chaos...?) army and using that technique on a whole army. With the large, flat armor plates, the Dreadnought's blue does look to be slapped on. Maybe on your next one/next tank, you could get a large, flat brush, (I have one that is about 1 inch across) and drag the paint across the silver in one direction. That would make it look neater, and you might get some cool effect.
