Custodian Athiair Posted January 1, 2009 Share Posted January 1, 2009 Hi now i dont want no spoilers i am on page 400 so no more info after that please right i am confused why the viral bombs are launched on the few Emperors Children and the death guard etc. why did that happen becuase i thought that only Tarvitz went renagde from the renegades (if you know what i mean) but i haven't seen anything to suggest he was there? so if you could explain that bit for me thanks no wait i have found Tarvitz in there but i also saw Lucius but i know we went to chaos why was he bombed? thanks Athiair :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So you can't shout at me for this. :) Horus and the other traitor primarchs had vast amounts of troops under their command. They hadalready sussed out who's loyalties lay where, e.g Tarvitz was loyal to the Emp. And up to and beyond that point Lucius was loyal to the Emp too. Basically they had so many troops that they had to dispose of the loyalist element before trying to attack Terra or even continue the heresy. What Horus et al, don't need is to have loyalist troops in their ranks who would turn on them within the ships of the fleet or send word back to Terra. Tokunator Posted January 2, 2009 Share Posted January 2, 2009 Yes, you read the last of the 3 books talking about Horus (should be Galaxy in Flames), Loken was confused because Horus re-assigned people from all around the Legion to the drop assault instead of sending full companies as he usually did. Basically, they put all the Loyalists unto the planet whilst keeping the Marines likely to side with Horus on the ships. Then they bombed the bejezuz out of the planet.
