Where were the Daughters of the Emperor?

Recommended Posts

So im wondering with all these legions running aroun playing good guy bad guy and not to mention the millions of Imperial Gaurd stuck in the middle somewhere with no clear defined areas.

So i know the Daughters of the Emperor were on San Leorne but did they take part in any of the battles against the Traitors and Horus??

I suppose it's possible they were some splinter group of the silent sisters,or possibly the silent sisters themselves that were in Flight Of The Eisenstein, but I have no Idea to be honest. The only things I've read about the Silent Sisters was in that book. But If this splinter group idea had any merit I thnk they would have been post heresy, If they did indeed evolve from the silent sisters I would then consider them to be around pre heresy. This is all just speculation on my part having only read about them from one source.

There is no founding date for the Order of the Daughter of the Emperor. It´s impossible to say if they had been founded during the Great Crusade or later. I don´t think that the Daughters are a splinter group of the Sisters of Silence. All Sisters had one thing in common: they are all Pariah, null-entities to the warp. It´s very likely that, like any other imperial organisation, the SoS are not flexible enought to adoped new doctrines in their recruitment methods. The Pariah gene is what makes the SoS so effective as witchhunters. Gamewise, i think they would be a bit gamebreaking with their ability to negate any psychic ability on the table. That´s why they´re no longer mentioned in post-heresy times (and had been replaced with the SoB).
