White Scars in HH novels

The HH series isn't finishing any time soon, so don't worry, mate, relax! There are so many events and battles that happened at the end of the Great Crusade and HH, that each Legion will get its time in the sun. In another thread someone posted that the HH series is supposed to be 42 books over 15 years. That leaves a lot of scope for stuff we are all itching to read about, plus things that we've never heard about.

For the WS, do you think the book might tell us about the Red Highway Massacre? I haven't got my fluff library to hand, so I'm not sure if a) that's even the correct name for the incident, and B) it was an event during the GC or HH; it may have been much later.

Where did you hear this? I am certainly a fan of the series and the game in general, but I'm not going to wait fifteen years for novels about a story I already know the ending too. I get they want to milk it, but how long do you think people will maintain an interest in something they all know already?

I want to read about the first chaplains, White Scars or otherwise.

If it is going to be many, many books, then for us to be able to afford them it'll need to be spread out. Beside, GW will get revenue spread out over a long time, not just a blip over 5-6 years. I am crap with internets, so I can't do linkys, but I think I saw the 15 year thing in Amicus. I'll have to check.

However, if you are really bored (or, like me have no life) then the thread is either on here, Warseer or WargamerAU.

I'll go and look!!

EDIT: Tried to find where I'd seen the above and wouldn't you know it? Not a trace, and now I'm doubting my own sanity! But I did see it somewhere, honest!

Yes, I am pissed about them ignoring the Chapters like the Raven Guard and the WS and the Salamanders....It's wrong.

Corax hasn't been mentioned in ANY book, the hell!?

while i whole heartedly agree that legions like the Raven Guard, WS and Sallies need spot light novels... Corax, and Vulkan both have brief mentions, and descriptions in "Fulgrim"

towards the end, before Istvaan 5 :)

As mentioned above, most chapters have been mentioned briefly during the books, cant quote them all exactly but i know they're there.

As for 42 books over 15 years, was mentioned here: Linky.

Lucky Angels blade got a got a copy of Tales of Heresy and listed the story titles as well so well worth a quick look!

Okay sorry...

I haven't read Fulgrim yet. (Well, I'm to the bit where Ostain is found dead by whats-her-face.)

Personally, the Raven Guard need there own book, I wanna read about the time Horus and Corax were friends and how they fell out.

i dont remember horus and corax being friends...i actually seem to remember the opposite. I think the IA article had corax actually removing the raven guard from under horus's command...something about horus claiming victories actually accomplished by corax's warriors, pissing corax off badly.
