To wait untill the new Leman Russ kit will come out in May is your second option or you scratchbuild you your own like i had done. Grey Mage Posted March 3, 2009 Share Posted March 3, 2009 One last thing.... you said you want this because you play against orks? Id avoid it then. Its 200pts. For the same price you can have 2.5 Predators with autocannons and heavy bolters. If the orks are in close combat they both have rear armor 10, so powerclaws wont see a difference and against shooting with orks AV 13 and 14 are nearly identical in the weapons that can affect them. The only time IMHO it will be worth it if he habitually takes large squads of lootas. Then the fact taht it cant be shaken by them may come into play. Over all though as much as i hate to say it the predator is better for anyone not maxed out on Heavy Support. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I only built one because we can have one and have only fielded it once. That was vs Tyranids where it certainly held it's own and gave huge support to two GH squads. Points wise, as mentioned you could buy a couple of Predators and maybe even squeeze a HB Razorback as well. It's probably not worth the points but it'sa great centre piece to build.
