PLEASSEEE REAADD THIS BEFORE YOU COMMENT!!!!!!!

I haven't read it yet..so there are probably a lot of errors, AND its in my chicken scratch, so excuse that. A lot of the special rules haven't been given too deep a thought yet, but I just liked all the ideas. I've had to remove the weapon details, so I wouldn't be going against and GW codes.
As you can see, I ran out of room in several places, but when I type this out, and put it into .PDF form, it should have more than enough space to spare!
There are 2 underlined spots (you can really only see 1 of them though). One in the fluff, and one in the Transport Capacity. I couldn't recall where Horus sent the Dark Angels (and I don't think the Space Wolves were with them, but whatever), so if someone could help me with that? =-D The other, I am unsure about the Transport Capacity, as DogmaRaider and I haven't really discussed game-play operations yet. I'm just winging this all. I figured the transport could be the same/near the same as a Thunderhawk..but I dunno.

What do you think? I'm not really going for a discussion, I just want imput, but if you NEED to discuss, go ahead...

This was originally placed in my WIP thread, and wasn't meant for this section, but I was told to put it here, to get REAL feedback.. Just...don't tear me apart.

- rephrase the "Hardened Crew" rule. The way it is know, Chronus would suddenly pop out of nowhere when the Exterminus is destroyed.
- the rule with Feel No Pain is too strong, IMO

Assault cannons- there ARE 4 there, so thats 2 twin linked, on one sponson.


Hull Mounted Flamestorm Cannons


Someone thought.. that 4 sponsons= four guns. It really means 2 choices of 2 guns. IE: 1 Lascannon= two TL lascannons, one on each side.

Now THAT is what I'd imagine a MoTF would build for himself. Until you transcribe your paper to a digital format, I expect people would be more interested on how you built what you have so far, and seeing the final result.

Too bad..the Dark Angels don't TECHNICALLY get a MoTF =-P But I do agree. =-D

You better appreciate this..and comment!! I spent 5 minutes typing..then I spent 20 trying to figure out how to get it to pdf (on a Mac..I know PCs can..so Macs can too...somehow). Then I spent another long point of time trying to figure out why Photobucket wouldn't upload .Pdfs..then I realized that Preview converts .Pdfs into .img! Victory!

Under "Venerable Presence" there are multiple options for the attributes that the models gain. I will be choosing one, but I want your input on which one.



The weapons..Range, Str, and AP are "norm" beacuse I don't want to go against GW copyright laws. Special SHOULD be "norm" but its not =-D I was going to add "points" but that'll come in a later time.



I understand it all (because I wrote it) but if you need anything clarified, let me know!

C&C please.

Edit: after reading around. The Fellblade was popped to the top, and the Inspiring Presence was pretty appealing. What do you think of this..

Small notes
for Venerable presense I would probly go with fearless, though stuborn is generarly a better rule Fearless is more Dark Angle ish to me. I would warn against slow and purposefull, especialy for a dark angle army, as terminators and bikes are automaticly relentless, so it would only be a negitive (as slow and purposefull is a weaker version of relentless) to Raven wing or Deathwing companies (and if your not playing raven wing or deathwing why are you playing DA?). So Counter attack or Fearless, maybe both would even be fine.

As this is a super heavy, and generaly large and in charge you may want to up the PotMS to be able to fire two weapons a turn instead of just one, Call it Venerable Machine Spirit or something. Thing is crazy old right?

I would normaly advise against mounting thunderfire cannons on a vehicle, and even more so against it being ona landraider (14 FRS!!) but I can forgive it on a supperheavy, though where TFC's around when this was made (I am unsure on the TFC fluff, weather they are a newish gun, or where retconned to be as old as the rest of the stuff)

Okay, Fearless or Counter Attack, (Attempting to go for a full DW force, I have 40 terminators coming my way, and more).
Took me a while to figure out what PotMS was, then once I got it, I read on, and you spelled it out for me =-P So 2 weapons (of any str/ap?). So saying...1 set of TL Lascannons (one set is 2 guns, one on each side) or 2 sets of TL lascannons?

TFC's are quite...lame on vehicles, but I wanted to present it to see what people thought. I don't really care for the vehicle (since I don't play, I'm just making the datasheet for pleasure and to quiet others...who miraculously haven't responded to it yet...) in play mode, as I won't play it, but I wanted to model it =-D

It was also pointed out to me that I should raise the points up to 750 + weapons, since it is 14 AV all around... and has up to 4 TL lascannons, and a flamestorm, and missiles... =-P thats a lot of firepower... =-D

1 assault cannon has already got heavy 4, rending, so 4 of them could make heavy 8, rending, twin-linked. how about that?

Yeah I know...I just pulled off all the stuff from the codex, while adding "sponson, pintle etc" Haven't thought about weapons at all really.

I really, really, like it, the model looks like you put in a lot of work. The only question I have isn't really directly related to this, but:

Where did you get all the Assault Cannons? Bits order? Terminators? Land Raiders? Land Speeders? I'm just curious, I want to know how other people go about amassing these great guns.

Being a Dark Angels player..I've probably had 4-5 of the Ravenwing sprues..and theres about 4 on each one I believe... The biker box set (3 DA bikes) comes with the upgrade sprue, and last time I checked, it was the same price (if not cheaper) than the normal box set. So go get some!

So for those of you who say that only the Adeptus Mechanicus can have vehicles with 3 structure points or more... mine is bigger than said tank with 3 structure points, can I have 3 too?

Yes,...but its coming from SM players =-P Every other non-SM player thinks the tank is awesome, but anything about the rules sucks.
