bearden441 Posted February 4, 2012 Share Posted February 4, 2012 I also decided to jump on the bandwagon just so I could say I have been there and painted up a blade using the new funky GW technique, while I aint really a fan of this look on mass as I tend to think it gets lost in the throng (I much prefer the glowing bright blue of my existing blades, they look mint on the table) it should look quite nice on the odd hero blade or two http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v429/BulldogUK/DreadSword3.jpg I was wondering what colors you used for the blade. Your army is made of awesomesauce ;) The only critique I can offer, is that your bases - especially the big ones like the dreadknights - look a little flat. Adding some features to take away that tarmac 'feel' they've got, would really serve to do justice to the immaculate minis. If it is not board appropriate, please delete it. Note: I'm not a backer (yet) but intend on being one. Just thought I'd drag this to the top and let everyone enjoy Bulldogs models again.... but I do have an alterior motive for doing so. Anyone who has ever wished for some of the amazing titan models that Bulldog painted for his force is in luck. Dreamforge are producing the Titan above, plus a smaller Dreadknight sized 15mm scale version.
