Praetors of Calth full army pic

Well, finally got the lads finished at quarter-to-four in the morning before my gaming group and I drove up to the event...

Voila! This picture of the whole army is pinched from a fellow called Zog on the Space Wolf forums (hope you don't mind!) – I stupidly forgot to bring my pict-capter to the event.

L–R:

Land Raider Argo, deploying Techmarine Arius and golem-servitor maniple; Recon squad Telcion and Rhino (Metaeans); Tactical squad Mox (Ciconians); Ancient Avulus in Dreadnought armour; Speculatores; unidentified Remembrancer; Tactical squad Santiagon (Apaesians); Jetbike squadron (Phocians); Tactical squad Epipatros (Locrians); Remembrancer; Command Squad Orar (Zelians); Predators Spear of Iax and Terra's Shield.

I ran out of time to paint any model servitors, so simply stapled some of my trusty paint servitors to bases and shrank them down with my debiggeningdendrite. (You can see the one in the centre trying to get off the base – clearly he needs his prime directives renewed.)

New Captain Orar

I love this model so much! Simply had to swap the old Captain Orar's arm for a banner and relegate him to being an Ancient, just so this guy could be Orar – and suitably pimp he is too, in my opinion!

Erm...I can't see the first picture, all I get is a red cross...

I can see the other pics though - and your work is brilliant. I really like the painting.

Possibly a stupid question (I havn't seen your work before) but is the techmarine supposed to look like the ultramarines techmarine in the heresy cards/art work book? The helmet just looks - similar.

Do I spy HassleFree/Heresy minis as the remembrancers?

I really like this army, it's very well done.

Very nice, do you have any WIP shots?

did you sculpt the head of the new Orar?

I think the 'New Orar' head is from Blood Angels commander Dante.

Real nice army you got there! Who are the two smaller models who don't wear power armour? ^^ Also could we get more pics of the army perhaps?

What models did you use for the remembrancers? I wouldn't mind getting myself some of them. I would like to inquire if you do commission work, because I would like some of those beautiful chests and heads, which are amazing. Great job on everything!

wow just awesome

ok just 1 thing i wanted to ask

1) is the 'unidentifed' rembrancer being the Doctor? becuase i have always wondered what would happen if the Doctor went to the 40K (or in this case 30K) universe

very nice work:tu:

did you use the Tempus Fugatives rules? (becuase of the rembrancers)

Athiair

I really enjoyed seeing you build this army, and although I didn't comment your thread much on WarSeer, it was a pleasure watching it grow. I think this new sleeker version of Orar looks ace, and fits the bill for a Marine that lives up to the hype of being the 'spiritual patriarch' of another Space Marine Chapter. Do you have any other plans on extending the army further or are you done with the Ultramarines for now?

Is this Minature Heaven?

Are you God?

Can we see more close-up shots of your tanks too, God?

:)

I just noticed that some of your models are on top of those parchment sheets you wrote up, huh? That's an awesome idea and I'm surprised more haven't thought of doing something as simple as that.
