An Angry Marine Posted January 10, 2010 Share Posted January 10, 2010 Hey fellow forum peoples of B&C, nice to finally become a part of the forum. A break from the totally BS tradition of stating immediatly "what armies I play", I'm going to tell you all a little about my self. My name is Kiernan Allen Carmine McClelland, my friends call me "Mac". I'm currently attending my first year of political sciences at the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada. I enjoy all winter sports (especially snowboarding and snowblading), awesome 70's/80's Hair Metal and rock, my girl, "extreme paintballing" (both summer and winter ball), soccer, football, going down to the bars with friends and of course, my country (despite there inability to win the gold 6 years in a row :lol: ). Oh and did I mention I enjoy wasting countless pay checks on this hobby B) Now a little history of my history in the hobby. I started my first army when the Black Templars codex came out, opting obviously for a Black Templars army. Why you may ask? One word; GRIMALDUS (FTW). Anyway, I painted up around 1800 points before the talk about "How the Spess Merinzzes" were for sore winners and/or sore losers, got to me. So I started a guard army. But I quickly learned that I had switched power armour and boltguns for cardboard and flashlights. So I resorted back to my beloved BTs. I was purely a BTs player until the new SM codex came out. It was then that I began painting up the army of my true calling, the "FAKKING ANGRY MARINES" ( :D ). Why? Well it was all because of a picture I found on the interweb which showed an Angry Marine standing to attention with an arrange of profanity written on his armour, most notably a note on his right greave which read "Your Face Here". I was immediatly hooked. So as a result, I have around 1500pts of Angry Marines, with another 1500pts on the way. I'll be sure to post both armies A.S.A.P.
