YOU MUST VOTE BEFORE YOU CAN SEE THE RESULTS. IF YOU CHOOSE TO SEE THE RESULTS BEFORE YOU VOTE YOUR VOTE WILL BE LOST!!!

Alright folks, there are 98 entries in the Single Mini Category

So give each page time to load and you can then vote and discuss your favorites here. Don't worry the judges have their own area for discussing entries and will not be partaking in this thread.

A lot of beatiful work on display here. Had to go with 72 in the end, but 38 and 58 were both very close seconds!

Some superb models! I think a couple of other models could have snatched my vote with a little work on the base, but some superb results! Well done guys!

I quite like 2, 13, 32, 52 and 96, some great models on show. Fantastic painting and great conversions on show. Good luck to all.

Edited by Mr.Millar, 01 February 2010 - 03:11 PM.

The Emperor's Children stood in a ready battle formation in front of the Ultra Marine command squad, a foul chaos dreadnought slowly stomped to the front line and halted opposite the Imperial forces. A high pitched screech erupted from the dreadnought's sonic cannon followed by a wave of silence and then a steady ...THUMP...THUMP... of bass. In perfect unison the Emperor's Children started to perform an incredibly simple yet rhythmic dance routine. In sheer awe and amazement the space marines let their guard down and suddenly, the music kicked in and one by one, they succumbed to the pain and fell to the floor screaming as the sound of the Macarena echoed into the night......

This was by far the hardest decision I've had to make. I was able to narrow it down to 3 fantastic paintjobs. I picked the one that I thought had the best paintjob albeit only marginally so. If I were to do the voting again after doing some painting of my own, I might've picked differently. Too many nice minis to count, and even more that I'd be proud to declare my own work. Congrats to everyone that put something up! You've painted far better for this contest than I have (I didn't paint at all, and even if I attempted, I'm mortal-slow at painting, I'd have just completed the basecoat).

-J

P.S.- I expect to see many GB contestants' threads in the Tutorial Section! HINT HINT!

I voted for #12.

Honourable mentions go to: 13, 42, 44, 45, 81, and 96.

There are some excellent models. Five of them came close but in the end I decided to give my vote to 72. The amount of work that went into it, besides the quality paint job won in the end. I have a feeling it's Adrian Bay's model, the cape is the same style as the silver winner in the Golden Demon 40K single mini. But that's just me guessing.

A lot of great entries in here, I think I need to give myself a day or two to process all of the cool painted toy soldiers before casting a vote.

It was a close run thing between 50 and 58 for me. I love 58 so much, but the face on 50 is just so breathtaking in it's realism and subtlety. Well done Mr/Miss 50: you got my vote. Well done too to Mr/Miss 58: a truly awesome job.

Kudos to all who entered. Takes guts to literally have your work judged by others. I just spent the last hour trying to pick my jaw up off the floor. Simply amazing work, everyone.

Entry 71 in single mini gets my vote I love the conversion work and the paint scheme is very nurglesque yet not common
and 62 gets my WTH sorry but I hope it's just the picture quality that is the problem (no clue who painted it).

The salamander number 58 does it for me. 72 is beautiful as well.
