You sicken me beyond comprehension. I am sickened, because I will never wield this much raw talent and skill.

But it is enough that you can, and that you put it to good use. You are worth kneeling before in recognition of your skill. ;)

However... Your posing sucks. Seriously. What is Corax doing? Trying to grab someone while he prepares to throw his spear at the same time? It really killed the model for me, which is a shame, considering your undoubtable untouchability when it comes to ability. His jump pack was also far too large and drew my attention away from the primarch himself, which is not a good sign.

The Rune priest on the bike has the same problem. What is he doing with his staff? It looks like it's braced against himself.

The Lion has a beautiful pose, on the other hand. It has a very... Noble arrogance feel to it that quite fits the Lion.

Dorn... His pose is nice, nothing special.

I hope you don't get offended by what I say. Please, consider my words, your umatchable level of skill does not deserve so lowly a marring as poor posing, which is sadly too common among incredibly skilled persons such as you (although you are exceptional among even those incredbily skilled persons, talent wise).

Wow. Dude, you weren't paying attention when you looked at the posing on the rune priest. The "staff" is not across his lap. its hanging off of his wrist. As far as corax goes, the jump pack is HUGE, but it kinda looks like he is balancing for a throw with that spear. Just my two cents.

Freak, I absolutely hate to criticize this Lion'el Johnson in anyway- but I can say, I am just not feeling the face. The sculpting intensity of the armor, and the servitors is to such a quality standard that his face simply falls flat for me.

A wonderful model otherwise- are you intendin to embellish the blade of the sword at all?

Oops, my bad with the Rune priest. Please ignore on account of sight issues :cuss

Again, I mean to cause no offence with my posts, merely advice.

As a fellow sculptor it is work like this that pushes me to learn more and inspires me to better myself when I sit down and pick up my sculpting tools to begin a fresh sculpt, your atention to detail is superb and your use of different mixes and styles of putties also gets a big thumbs up from me as the G.S + Milliput is a combo I use all the time. The painted corax is awesome and it just shows how good your work looks when the paint is on and makes the individual detail much easier to see. I also love the fact you went with the American Indian theme for Corax and it works very well as a whole, I will be keeping an eye out for your next update

Again thank you for the inspiration ;)

Hello to everybody!

Long time pass from my last visit here.

The things on my life isn´t good enough, but I´m trying to past over the problems and still working on sculpting miniatures.

Sometimes it´s hard, and lately I was thinking a lot about quit at this , and get back to my old job (art-related, but 100% about advertising and publicity).

I really appreciate all your comment about my work.

Thanks!

Now some answers.

@Dark Apostle Thrist: No offense at all with your comments. I don´t trying to invent nothing new about posing, but also I don´t believe that my posing sucks.

I work the poses of my models as they was captured on a snap-shot, mostly are on the middle of a movement.

I find at the middle of an action the most rich poses.

About Corax´s pose, well, he is jumping from a piece of rubble, and trowing a javelin. If you look at the olympic games, you will see many athletes doing this movement, every time they throw a javelin.

The Jump-pack it´s huge... because isn´t a jump-pack. According to the last fluff, Corax wear a unique device that allows him to fly, not jump. So i imagine that he will need something like an land-speeder on his back.

In other hand Dorn was realized like a noble and controled guy, watching a battle , with a little hidden tension (that why he grab his sword).

The question about the wolf priest was already answered by Rayray.

@Dinks: In a futuristic fantastic context, where titanic robots that rises kilometers reaching the skies run... Why a guy with a robe can´t be a feline alike sword master? :P

@Sioka: Thanks dude! I already working on a Corax´s guard for the same clint. So we will see some more American themed crow-marines around here.

Here´s a a poor quality video (it was made around the 4:00 AM, so don´t expect nothing great)

The finished Aphotecary-Shaman. Cliking on the pic opens a new window with the video.

Today I realize that I haven´t updated for a while so here´s a bunch of power armoured goodies that I made:

First some set of weapons for Maxmini

the greens

Some termies shoulder pads for a Salamander polinesian based army (By the way, I working on a Vulkan that match with this concept)

A few AdMech icons

And finally... Ferrus Manus.

The model was planned to get ready around end of February. But, unfortunately Brother Varen (my client9 lost his job, and have to cancel the commission.

I was planned to finish it at some point (he needs a lot of work on final details (such candles, purity seals, cog seals, AdMech icons) a cape made of metal plaques (like the skirt and shoulder of thismodel), and a bunch of servo-skulls flying all around.

The model stands around 12 cm from the bottom of the base to the top of the candles.

The idea was that Ferrus made his own armour previous the emperor arrival to Medusa. then he join the cruzade and add all Imperial symbols.

Also I want to suggest that the techmarine armour style born in Ferrus mind.

Here´s the concept sketch and a couple of pics of his current state.

If anyone is interestend on this model send me a PM.

Like always C&C are most welcome.

Regards to all
