diddymao Posted February 10, 2010 Share Posted February 10, 2010 I've been a tabletop gamer for most of my life but this is my first exposure to Wargaming (late night games of Risk not included) I was introduced to Warhammer 40K by a buddy of mine through the Horus Heresy and Ciaphas Cane books and Dawn of War. I started painting/collecting/gaming with the Orks about a year ago but I've been hosting an ongoing DIY campaign with some friends, as a result I've been collecting a few Tyranids, Necrons and more to the point at hand a decent host of Space Marines, Chaos Marines and Chaos Daemons. Still a fan of the Orks of course, but after having to create a bunch of fluff for the DIY Marines and Chaos Marines I've discovered a newfound interest, hence my registration to this board.
