New Battle-Brother

Giggles

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

My name is Giggles. I have been very interested in playing WH40k for some time now, and a new friend of mine also has always wanted to play. Since I have someone to play with now, I plan to start my own Black Templar army, which I have a few questions on.

For fun, I play the bagpipes, box, and remove the xeno taint from the universe (play DoW2). I hope to have fun here, and to become better informed about the game, which I'm still not sure how it works with the different phases and point systems.

About BT's, is it neccessary to have a neophyte for every initiate? If possible, I think I would prefer just a pure initiate crusader squad. And is it possible to have both a chaplain AND an EC in a force, one combined into each crusader squad.

Thank you for the help, and may the Emperor's Light guide you to salvation!

Heretics! Lol, the reason I chose my name to be Giggles is because there is nothing more humiliating than having all of your psykers ninja bombed by two squads of assault marines. I'm kinda known for doing that. /sigh If only I could set up landmines...

Welcome Giggles. Good to see another brother joining out zealous ranks.

As for your questions, no you dont have to have neos for every initiate but you can have upto but not over the amount of neos as your initiates per squad iirc. Also yes you can have an EC as well as a chaplain each assigned to there down squad the ec classes an an IC but doesnt take up any of your slots and in a750+pts army you HAVE to field him
