Irabrai Posted January 12, 2012 Author Share Posted January 12, 2012 Right, so i've made a return to the forum after a while out...And have returned to being one of Sanguinius' sons for this years LPC...Last year Tzeentch had a grip on my soul and i painted up some Chaos, but with our Lord's guidance have fought off his powers... For this years vow, i'm intending on doing a Land Raider, a terminator Librarian and Brother Corbulo - I havent started with the Land Raider or Librarian as I dont have the models just yet, but will look at buying them next week, but I have started with Corbulo (and am waiting for paint to dry as i type this post lol) In terms of the rest of the army, its been slowly growing, I've expanded my death company to 10 men, will slowly work towards getting another 10 man tactical squad, (currently 7 man) and have another tactical squad. Armour wise, theres a Razorback as well as a Predator to field. Got quite a few models on the go, as well, a few veterans/squad sergeants that i've done, as well as a servitor (see below). Have started on servitor number 2, and am thinking about getting a Techmarine, and having that as part of the vow but chose not to add it as theres a fair bit on my plate at the moment. The models are yet to be painted as well, as i'm looking at buying some from a website on payday. Yeah i know i need to spare you some time, but its easier said than done for a saturday battle till the start of April. I tried to arrange a battle for the saturday before you have one but Mark couldnt do it due to his wife doing a first aid course (i think). Can always do a wednesday night tho - Hint Hint. When the first Dawn of War came out in 2004, I created a chapter using the in-game army painter with the exact same name and color scheme. Anyway, excellent looking army! Gives me a few ideas , cheers buddy. model has a nice pose, though not sure about the colours on the gun, bit too much for me, but really nice overall. Yes its another band logo, this belonging to a band called Dark Tranquility - asked for suggestions from friends and thats what they suggested. Has already taken part in a battle, where it helped in destroying/banishing a Soul Grinder back to the warp, as well as running my Chapter Master, Librarian a Sanguinary priest and an assault squad around.
