Good day Brothers,

Having just read the lore of our Chapter, I had a few questions. I am planing, like others, to make my own mini to represent my B&C persona. As i understand it, i cant do anything to high-ranking. I am after all just a grunt. I will be making him...erm...myself a simple tatical marine with a bolter and chainsword. Are there any other requirements? Do i have to fill a role? And would it be okay if I gave myself some background? Nothing to heroic, just simple things.

I do plan to make him a true scale marine. Is this allowed? How do i get the honor of becoming of a higher-rank?

You don't have to have a bolter and chainsword if you don't want them. You can be pretty much anything - Devastator, Biker, whatever. There aren't really any requirements. Truescale is certainly allowed.

The reason we're leaving the senior officers alone is because we might flesh them out in an official capacity through later development. Promotion isn't really an issue - just create him from the perspective of being newly seconded to the Legio and don't sweat what might happen to him later.

Squad markings are appropriate. The Legio uses the Codex markings (the entire range, not just one specific set), so you have a lot of freedom to pick the markings you want.

Are we only restricted to one B&C persona or can we do more? Not a whole squad but a few (2-5).

Each member has one alter ego within the Legio.

That shouldn't stop anyone from creating multiple Legio minis if they want. For example, I'm working on a Legio kill-team that will later be expanded into an army.

So variant battle brothers are allowed -- what about specialist slots such as Techmarines?

I've seen some pretty far-fetched historical parts for the B&C persona's, so my question is, if it's too unrealistic, will it be edited?

Would a Dark Apostle be allowed? It's pretty high up there, but it isn't Kor Phaeron or Erebus. Plus, Dark Apostles are second to Grand Apostles...

Or could I only be Dark Acolyte?

But I can't fit that in with my fluff... ah, not your problem.

But then they wouldn't be part of the Legio? If so, there's going to be a Lords of Shadow Librarian in town.... Dark Apostle Thirst is (in the fluff) a sorceror, and a impersonator. You see where this might be going?
