The Legio Imprint is coming together and I am making sure that everything is ready to go as slickly as possible.

One of the things that I arranged with the artists when I was getting them on board was that although we couldn't pay them for their artwork, that SCC had given me the green light to offer a short blurb for each one in the credits to briefly flag up their availability for commission work and the like. So that things don't get out of hand, could the artists post say 100-150 words each with the odd hyperlink to a gallery website or commission contact?

This will include:
- Aerion the Faithful
- Empty Bolter Clip
- FireLizard
- madscuzzy
- Badaboom
- Badaboom's flat mate - we really need to get his name, Diego.

And for the author credit:
- Ferrata. Probably not doing commission work, though.

Now regarding the painter work that Matt and Matt have done, it would certainly get a mention in the credits and counts in my head as artwork, but would you mind forgoing the 100 words? Your help on this project has been invaluable and I certainly don't want to start a conflict, but I am worried how much room this credit section will start taking up. :)

Is this the kind of info you are looking for, or more like the ones in the librarium pages where say a bit of how long we have played, what armies, etc? (If more is needed I can always edit/add more) Also, I don't know if you were wanting to use full names with these or just forum names, but mine is used on my website anyway so it is no big secret. Either one works. :P

Don't sweat it John, I don't think I have a need to push my commission work  A mention in the credits is more than enough.

Same as above, I was just happy to help out. The mention in the credits is fine.

EDIT: Is there a set release date yet?

Hey guys...

I will join in the words of fellow brothers up there... I think mentioning my name will suffice. I think I've listed all the information people need to know on my signature, so there's that to put up as information. Short and to the point. I usually love talking about myself, but I'll refrain this time :D

I hope to get working on something else for the board as soon as more ideas come up!

Well, I think I´ll take the same option, so just put my name, nick and link, and that´s it John. Anyway, the text I sent you was taken directly from the London book fair website, and I think it´s too overblown. About my flatmate, his name is Sergio Camarena, and he hasn´t register on this forum yet, neither he has a website, so I guess his name will be enough.

@Matt - That's great. ;) As to the publication date, things are now in the hands of OMG (Paul) for formatting together. There will also be some other things to do, like final proofing, getting the thumbs up from Brother Argos and sorting out the technical side of putting it in the download section. This is the first issue, so I imagine there may be unexpected hiccups, but after what I have said, I really hope it is all out during April... and the sooner the better.

@Nic, Diego - I will collate the credits section (based upon the 5th edition guide publication) using your info. Thanks. ;)

Sorry that things have been so quiet - I have been frantically formatting it up. All ten articles are (provisionally) done but it still needs proofing, the cover finalising and the admin sections like intro, contents and credits are next on the list.

I am still confident of an April publication... although it might be close to the last day of the month knowing how seemingly little things can cause so many delays.

On the up side, I think it looks really good! The hard work you have all put into it has really paid off. :D

Given your previous help with proofreading I thought I would send you the draft in case you can spot anything, Matt. It is a hefty old tome, though. :o

In sending it from one pc to another - even on pdf format - the biggest problem that I have noticed is that on a different pc it slightly strtetched the Thousand Son painter image. I am looking into what might be different about it.

Sorry, I missed this thread some how. Yeah, you don't need to credit me with any details outside I wrote that one. I don't think anyone would actually pay for an IA...would they?
