Wow, that is a very inspiring collection! My hat is off to you, sir! Iron within, Iron without.

Thank you! Let me add that your World Eaters have been an inspiration on several occasions as well. And let's not forget about that image of my First Warsmith Argos Tvarr! :smile.:

Glad to have contributed my little part to the epic history of your Grand Company! ;)

A small update is better than none! I was able to finish a Chaos Sorcerer for my warband last weekend :smile.:

The Sorcerer will be part of the Circle of Opalbanya, a small group of former Thousand Sons that took part in the Rubric and were absorbed into the Stonebreakers warband when they had to flee from the Magnus' wrath. They've since then become a vital part in summoning and binding the daemons that are needed to build the warband's many daemon engines.

And let's not forget the unit of Fallen, which thave been added to my warband recently and will be serving as Cypher's bodyguard.

Looking good, nice army shot too - that's quite the horde!

Thanks mate! The army has indeed grown quite a bit from its humble beginnings over ten years ago. Had I not sold off some Renegade Guard units a few years ago before moving temporarily to Japan, it would be even bigger. Too bad I needed some cash at that moment (and it looked like Renegade Guard were very much dead at that time)...

Time for another update! I've been working on some units for my renegades and heretics that support the Stonebreakers:

Awesome, I particularly like your vehicles commanders.

Thanks! I'm also really pleased with these Forgeworld additions. They add a lot of character to the vehicles.

Kythnos - Renegade are looking really cool.  Is this going to be a small allies force or are you planning on a full out force in the future as well?  Also like the Mechanicus Dune Cralwer :biggrin.:

Thank you, mate! For the time being the Renegades and Dark Mechanicus elements will just be a supporting force for my Iron Warriors. I do plan to make them able to stand on their own feet in smaller battles, however. So you can still expect some additions ;)

Work continues on the Stonebreakers warband! I finally started painting the first 10 of 20 Skitarii that will act as Hereteks or Renegade Disciples in the renegade army that is supporting my Iron Warriors. They're still a long way from completition, but at least I got things going again :)

=][= ETL Update =][=

Life has been busy, but I was finally able to prepare my Renegade Knight to be ready for priming. I just blue-tacked the Knight together for the picture, but he will be picked apart again for priming and painting. Thus, the pose isn't fixed yet. The next few weeks will be spent to paint him in time for the ETL deadline. I plan on using a halved or quartered colour scheme that uses elements from my Iron Warriors as well as my Dark Mechanicus. So be prepared for some silver and orange! The Hereteks (see above) are on hold until the big guy is finished.

Looks great buddy. What have you got planned for the base?

Nothing specific yet. I might be using some parts of the building ruins that came with the Renegade Knight box.

The shooting options can easily be swapped between the gatling and the battle cannon:

A few details:

1. Merx pattern chainfist

2. Nurglings are having a small party

4. The true face of dread B-)
