This is an awesome thread and the newest conversion is the highlight of it so to speak. Although i wouldn't de-chaosify it myself, the chains and sharp edges give it a nice, gritty look. On the other hand the spiky boots give it a bit of a non-40k feel. Where are the legs from btw?

Lord Death of Murder Mountain! (Ah Fallout New Vegas, how I adore thee)

Hehe, seriously though, that model is epic. Where did you get that hood by the way?

Gunna have to ask - what parts did you use to build this impressive conversion? The sword and the legs intrigue me the most as I can only guess at where they're from. :)

Wow...if he were real, I would NOT shake his hand. Is he your Exemplar? I don't know much about Blood Angel lore, but good lord, I wish I had bitz like yours. Btw where did you get that sick sword? Seriously, I've been on a quest for proper swords that look appropriate for a proper marine. And of course, quite a master with the green putty!

Well done!

Hi Everybody!

Now I have some time to answer some of your questions!

This army is so full of character. The Flesh Tearers would be proud! :)

Where is the banner on the top of one of the Razorbacks from?

Thanks Darth Potato!

The banner is from the Fantasy Orcs... cant remember exactly where i got it from... hope it helps!

Hey SanguiniusReborn!

You are spot on with the name!

Thanks for the comment!

:) very good. But where Mephy high collar hood?

Hello DeathKnight2000!

Thanks!

I have some thoughts on the collar thing but im not quite there yet... Right now im leaning towards scrapping the collar as i think its a bit too much... i know, i know... its one of his signature features but its too wampirish for me....

As to answer one of your previous questions about painting a stormraven... the answer is that im planning on it, im just working out how i would convert it... soo bear with me on that one :)

Hi Olisredan!

Parts are listed above...

It's the Archangel Tyrael's evil twin by the look of it.

(Oh, and great army!)

Hi Jolemai!

Yees indeed!

...and thanks!

Are those parts from the Chaos Manticore kit? This model is looking epic!

Hello Biohazard!

You are correct!

Thanks! :)

Hello Commander S. Caesare!

Thanks for the comment!

I was also on the look for a proper sword and then i found it! There are some good evil swords in the bloodletter box aswell...

Everytime I read this I think I hate you just a little ;)

But then I realise I couldn't hate anyone who makes such wonderful things :)

Hi Razblood!

Thanks for your comment!

"Good. Use your aggressive feelings, boy. Let the hate flow through you." :)

...Mephiston lord of death

Keep looking and keep fueling my fire!

Until next time!

Oh wow I remember this thread, that Sanguinor conversion was amazing.

I really hope Arne actually named him Lord Death of Murder Mountain as I dubbed him. :3

This. is. Amazing.

Do show us more when you have it, certainly when it's ready to be painted.

Also, please tell us what bitz you used.

On that note: what head have you used for the Astorath conversion? The link so kindly provided a few pages back is now dead (well, it HAS been three years...).
